We are a married couple, two artists that moved to Joshua Tree a couple years ago, not to run from the craziness of the city but more to run to the beauty of the desert.
We spent a year looking all over Joshua Tree for the perfect area to live in and when we found the Joshua Tree Highlands we knew right away that we didn't have to look any further.
The incredible views we have of the mountains that lead to the park entrance, the convenience of being so close to town yet in such a peaceful and remote area. How plush and surprisingly green this area is. The fact that everyone in the highlands has to have at least 2.5 acres of land to prevent it from becoming over developed.
The rabbits, birds, desert tortoises, lizards, chipmunks and squirrels in our yard.
