Many thanks for affording us the use of your spacious and lovely house over the last few weeks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The location was perfect, as we were visiting our son and daughter-in-law and grand-daughter in nearby Palm Avenue. We were blessed with such outstanding weather, having left snow behind in in Ireland. Again, many thanks.

My family of 3 and a colleague stayed at Rick's place for 8 days. My colleague and I commuted to work in Santa Clara for 5 days while my family wondered around in San Francisco.
Rick's place is extremely clean, cozy and well set up for a family.
We really wanted to thank Rick for leaving us a nice bottle of Zinfandel (my wife's favourite) and coffee for the mornings. We had everything in proximity - nice restaurants on Clement St, groceries on California St, etc. My family enjoyed the location even more as it is close to Golden Gate Park and the Presidio.
We will definitely try to rent this place again whenever we are back to San Francisco in the future.

My wife and I recently spent a week at this fantastic property with our 3 children. This house is in a fantastic location. Close enough to the city that you can be there quickly but far enough away that you an almost forget it is right at your doorstep. Being only a block or two from major transit route meant that not having a car was never an issue. The house itself was spotlessly clean and had every little extra you could think of right down to salt and pepper and the fresh ground coffee that Rick had left which my wife and I were incredibly greatful for. The 3 beds were all extremely comfortable and the house is always cozy and warm. I could not say enough great things about the house or Rick for all the information he provided before and during our stay. Rest assured we will be back.

Out of all the vacation rentals we've stayed in, this one ranks very high... As a result, we had a super Spring Break staying at Rick's place.
The property is clean well maintained. Bathroom is spacious (very nice shower). Layout is terrific (bedrooms are in the back so they are quiet).
All the gaming/Satellite TV amenities/maps/books were nice to have. But we were so busy trying to visit all the interesting spots on our to-do-list that we don't even have time to watch TV.
Wine and coffee were extra from the owner and that was very cool.
The driveway was the perfect size for our Ford Escape and that turned out to be a big plus (otherwise the 2 hr parking restrictions during business hrs on local streets could create headaches for us).
This place is within 5 min walk to Clement St and the "new" Chinatown. Found multiple grocery stores and very good restaurants. One morning I ordered some Chinese style steamed buns/onion pancakes (between 7th and 8th Ave, on south side of Clement) and brought them "home" for our breakfast. Super delicious stuff.
San Francisco has so many things to offer to visitors and we only wish we had more time. Pleasant surprises were Land's End, Alcatrez Tour, Floating Homes in Sausalito, Rodeo Beach and Crispy Field. And of course a visit or two to those Crab Stands in Fisherman's wharf is a must. The only thing we didn't see is Bill Dan's rock balancing act along Bridgeway.
The only culprit about the property is the noise generated by the wall heater when it starts up and shuts down. It takes a while to get used to, especially during the night. But once your body is "adjusted", you are fine.
I'll definite recommend this place to my folks and friends. So they could enjoy this wonderful city a bit more.

All was exactly as stated in the ad. The house was clean as a whistle, great washer and dryer, super shower, comfy living room, and ample kitchen. Close to both the 1 and 38 buses to take us everywhere. My only minor gripe: I would have liked a drying rack for sweaters and delicates and more hooks or bars for hanging wet towels. All in all, staying at Rick's house made making breakfast easy and coming back in the evenings relaxing. I would highly recommend this property to everyone. Go to Burma Superstar on Clement for excellent Burmese food and Eats a block away for breakfast or lunch.

Convenient, comfortable, spacious and close to downtown and Golden Gate Park, plus the shops and restaurants nearby provide variety and good value.

We were very pleased with everything. The home is well-maintained, comfortable, spacious and convenient to restaurants, parks and myriad entertainment activities.
