A birthday that will never be forgotten.

Our family had the most unbelievable time at this gorgeous beach home. The home from the living room to all the bedrooms was a very warm and inviting space. Not only was it beautifully furnished but it had
everything you would ever need to cook, set a table and entertainment while there. The whole house was clean and in very good condition. The bedrooms were so spacious and it was wonderful that each room had it's own bathroom. There were six adults and we never had to worry about not having our own space. My husband was celebrating his birthday with our
children and he said he couldn't have asked for a better time at the beach. The views from the decks were spectacular. This home was even more special than we had anticipated. We hope to do this again in the future because of the wonderful experience we had. Debbie was such a friendly person and was very attentive to our needs. We would definitely recommend this beach home to our family and friends. Looking forward to a future stay.

We had a wonderful time!!!! The weather was just fine – we played on the beach every day (including lots of fun boogie boarding) and absolutely loved the house. I think every single one of us wanted to live there forever. I’m already trying to figure out when we can come back. I’ve attached a picture of Jasper (my 10 year old) in the water.
We saw the catapult but none of us recognized it as ours, so we figured it must belong to the house! So no need to mail it.
Have a very happy New Year! And if you’re ever in the neighborhood feel free to stop by and say ‘hi’!

Perfect location to visit both Montery and Santa Cruz. Located about half way in between Montery and Santa Cruz was the ideal location for my family. We went for a weekend trip and spent one day in Montery and one day in Santa Cruz. The views from the unit were great and the sound of the ocean was soothing. The beach access was very convienent. My family ejoyed the uncrowded and very clean beach. Overall the unit was well kept, spacious and inviting. We loved it!

Great location right on the sand! Perfect for families with kids or an adult getaway. Enjoyed the peaceful/beautiful setting. Looking forward to bringing my tennis racket next time and staying longer!

This was a beautiful home, picures couldnt capture the comfort and appeal of this home. Right on the sand, the views were amazing...watching dolphins and California Sea Lions and birds was so much fun! Owners were amazing, helpful with information to help plan the trip, and careful with every detail to be sure guests were happy. I would love to come again and bring my family! Thank you Less and Debbie!

Perfect family vacation!

We fell in love with Pajaro Dunes on this trip. It feels so private and 'away from it all' yet so many amenities are close by. The house was ideal for our family to step out the back door and have the children play on the beautiful, wide sandy beach, and then walk just a few steps to get home. The house is very spacious and comfortable, with a bathroom in every room! It felt like we were in a home and had everything we could possibly need. We definitely hope to come back again.

Elkhorn Slough Recommendation

We enjoyed our stay at Pajaro Dunes—house was ideal for our group. We went on the "Elkhorn Slough Safari" which I highly recommend, 50+ otters, 200+ harbor seals, more sea lions than I can to think of, plus kayaking (for some of us) in the slough on another day.
First day at Cypress there were 6 otters in the surf and later saw 5 dolphins.

Another nice note received from a group of fathers and sons who just visited recently:
We had fabulous time. the Dad's are suffering from various stiff joints and sore muscles. We enjoyed skim boarding, touch football, Smashball, walks and jogs on the the beach. We also enjoyed Elkhorn slough by kayak and got an excellent core, leg and arm workout paddling back into the wind! Saw many otters, brown pelicans, seals, sea lions, egrets cormorants etc.. Great experience. But I am not sure some of us could have kept oup the pace for a whole week. A long weekend was just right and we thank you both whole heartedly.

Great Weekend Getaway

Just returned from a long weekend at Pajaro. 5 adults, 3 young kids, plenty of room for all. Loved sitting on the top floor balcony, book in hand, watching the kids play on the beach just a few yards away. Safe, wholesome fun. One of the best family getaways we've had in a while. Less than an hour from the Peninsula ... beats Tahoe, what a revelation!
