Great house!
My husband and I stayed with two friends and our dog for a week. There was plenty of space! The upstairs pool room was great for relaxing. Jerry was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The house was in a great location - quiet, close to the beach & lake, but still an easy drive to bigger towns/attractions. We hope to go back again soon!

Well worth it
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights with our dog and had a great time. We really lucked out with the weather which helped make this a great mini vacation! Spent most of our time out on the deck soaking up the sun! Very quiet area. We had a few friends come up for the weekend and still had plenty of room! Pool table is great. The grill worked really well. The house was clean upon arrival. Owner Jerry was very friendly and helpful. He made some good recommendations for a place for breakfast and said he would let us know if we could ever use the fire pit (sadly we never could!--high brush fire risk but nothing he/we could do about it! oh well!) All in all a great place and a great vacation.

LOVED our mini vacation here!!!
My boyfriend and I stayed here last weekend and had an absolutely fantastic time! The house was large, super clean and Jerry, the owner, was very friendly. He stocked up on wood for us for the outside fire pit and the woodstove, gave us info about the area and was overall a very friendly, relatable guy. He has the house decorated with alot of antiques that he's found over the years, it was really enjoyable to browse through them all. We had a minor issue with connecting to the wifi and he was so quick to help us figure out how to connect. The area is absolutely beautiful... the lake is gorgeous and is only a short walk away. We were delighted to see a whole family of deer right in the backyard early one morning, I'm sure your chances are high that you would see the same. Overall, this is a great place to stay and you will LOVE your trip to Lake Winnipesaukee, this was our first time and we were very happy with choosing this house over the others that we looked at. Enjoy your stay!!!

Well worth it
Two thumbs up, everything as advertised, tons of places to sleep with beds and couches, pool table is a great addition. Layout is great first floor wide open as well as second floor. Great deck, also grills, really don't have a bad thing to say, will probably rent same place again in future.

Spacious home for vocations at any season
We arrived at the beginning of fall. This spacious house is convenient both for small and big team. It is surrounded with friendly neighbors. The house is 7min away by walk from the lake and 2 min to drive to the town beach. We had a bicycle and canoe at our disposal that was moved to the bank of the lake right away after our request. We used the fire place last couple of days to warm the house and enjoy the fire. Sound system and big screen TV make possible for company to spend good time on the second floor. There are some shops around that completely provide your needs in comfortable living. Fresh woody air brought special fun during the whole vocations. We cooked our meals in the kitchen, that was fully equipped and spacious enough. That was one of the best vocations that I have spent. We would recommend the property for both summer and winter holidays.

As lovers of the the Lakes and Mountains Region, my decided to spend a special month in Moultenboro. We were looking for nothing fancy but a home environment with many activities within a walk, bike or short drive.
Fortune lead us to this Long Island Road, Moultonboro home. The home was spacious enough to make our family of 4 feel at home, as well as to host our best friends who came to visit each weekend.
The owner treated us as if we lived in his home year around, volunteered to show us around the area and shared food, equipment and recreational items as if we were long time friends. He gave us firewood, bought a new outdoor grill though the extant grill was adequate and otherwise was a gem.
We caught strings of sizable large mouth bass, watched sun sets on the shore line, listened to the loons call, canoed and kiyaked to neighboring islands and beaches, enjoyed the wonderful beach reserved for residents and renters and walked, jogged and biked.
We didn't feel like we were renters but as if the home were ours and it was one of the best recreational experiences our family had, and we have had many.

Dirtiest cottage we have rented in over 10 years
The pictures did not show the dirt on the floor, our feet were black after a few games of pool. The light fixtures were only half working, lights were either missing or blown. Very dark and dreary. Carpets not vacuumed well, bathroom unclean. And at the end of summer with cooler nights, no heat, wood or access to heat as this was locked, we were glad we brought extra quilts with us. Upon notifying owner on our first night of dirt on floor and smell of animal excrement, febreeze and must, he asked what we wanted him to do. Clean it again we suggested especially as a cleaning fee was included in the rental agreement. He went on a rant in a very raised voice to exclaim that we were insulting his cleaning as he and his girlfriend spent time that day cleaning - he did point to one bedroom which was clean, however, we rented the cottage not a bedroom. We asked him to lower his voice and he said that was the way he spoke. IHe said this was a cottage not the Taj Mahal! He did not reclean the cottage, with no bookings we did stay and upon our return home washed every single thing to air it out from the awful smell of the cottage. We have never experienced such rudeness, hostility and ignorance.
Owner's Response: Canadian owners review was written by a woman and her husband that showed up on the eve of a hurricane! i fully prepared the house for them in case they lost elect for their stay. i rented a generator to have ready and bought all kinds of tap lites, flash lites, paper plates and everything possible so they would be comfortable! they were not happy with the hurricane weather they had coming for a good part of their stay! i immediately went over there when they called sat nite at 9 pm and asked what was wrong? she pointed to a small piece of paper on the floor smaller than a dime and told me she wanted me to re vacuum the whole house and clean it again right then and there, i told them it had been cleaned earlier in the day and there was no way i was cleaning it again on sat nite for them! she was not happy with anything i said! everything is as it appears on the website and i have many happy renters all the time! i offered to give them 100 dollars back, cash so i could go back home and not listen to her ranting anymore!. she said if i gave them all there money back and let them stay they would not write a bad review. i told them i would not do anything like that unless they left and rented the one of hundreds of other rentals available at the lake! they said they would take the 100.00 which they did, and stayed the whole time 4 days!! We do everything possible to make sure everyone is happy when they come to stay PLEASE READ The good reviews honest people have left to see what the cottage is all about, thanks the owner!

Cabin 295112
We had an awesome time. We stayed there from December 26-29th. Jerry (owner) was very nice and extremely friendly. We were stocked up with plenty of fire wood to keep the wood stove burning. It was so much fun. We would definitely recommend renting this cabin. The only drawback was there is only 1 bathroom.
