Close and homey

3 Adults and a 4 1/2 year old stayed here and it was very pleasant. Paul was available to answer our questions and gave a nice tour upon arrival. The backyard was perfect for running around and the property was close enough for a walk to the Falls area (it was a bit far for our child, but we just gave piggyback rides rather than drive and pay for parking :) ). Laundry and kitchen were nice, too (blender, pots and pans, servingware, etc...I think the only area we needed to improvise was with mixing bowls, but that's because we had some serious dieteary restrictions and had to make just about everything from scratch...most folks probably wouldn't need mixing bowls). Loved both bathrooms (upstairs larger with a tub; downstairs smaller but still roomy with a NICE shower!). This wasn't a huge deal for us because the weather was cool enough, but it might be for others, so I'll just mention that it seemed like many of the downstairs windows in the living areas could not be opened. Windows throughout the rest of the house could be opened, many of them needing a wooden board to keep them open. They provided a very nice breeze. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. :) I'm just trying to be objective as much as possible. If you need health foods or specialty foods such as gluten free/vegan/etc, The Peanut Mill was I think about 20 minutes away. Oh, and if you like board games (oooh, or even PUZZLES!), the dining room table is nice and big. :) Have fun!
