This cottage has all the best the Pocono Region has to offer. Listen to the stream right outside your bedroom windows. Sit in your Adirondack chairs and watch golfers tee off the 14 hole against the mountain backdrop. Hike right from your front door or travel to the Appalachian trail and other state park and recreation areas within 5-10 miles.
Located 1.5 miles to downtown Stroudsburg for great restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Pocono ski areas within 10 miles. 10 miles to Crossings Factory outlets in Tannersville along with Camelbeach water park. World renowned Delaware Jazz Fest every September.
Quaint cottage has two bedrooms with double beds. A fireplace in the Living room, dining area, kitchen and one bathroom. A 30 X 10 covered patio that has two Adirondack chairs.
You are on Glenbrook Country Club and the restaurant/bar is a short walk away.

What makes this cottage unique
Active couple who enjoys all outdoor sports including, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, tennis golf etc. Our house is located close by and hope to find others who will love the Pocono's as much as we do.
The Owner purchased this cottage in 2009
It is close to a golf course and fishing. You feel like your hundreds of miles from town, but are really only less than 2 miles to the quaint downtown Stroudsburg where there are restaurants and other business.
We cross country ski from the front door and enjoy fishing in the stream. We love going to happy hour at the Country Club on Friday nights.

Everything We Were Looking For And So Much More

The Little Red Cottage was just a perfect base location for our weeklong family reunion in the Poconos, and its location provided quick and easy access to all of our planned destinations. The cottage was exactly as described in the listing with all the amenities that we could have wanted. The setting was idylic with a gurgling steam behind the cottage and a beatiful golf course as our front yard. Even though it was quit warm, we still had the opportunity to enjoy the fire pit out front on several evenings. The owners couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating and were very helpful with anything we needed. This was our second VRBO rental and we couldn't be happier with both experiences. We will definitely be looking to VRBO again in the future.

Magical :)

We spent a weekend at the cottage and absolutely loved it. The place is so quiet and relaxing, a perfect getaway from the city life. The cottage is cosy and clean, it has everything you may need. Our kids (7and 3) loved ithis place so much that they did not want to go back home.
A big thanks to the owners for being patient with us :). We hope to be back again, and will certainly recommend it to our friends.

A perfect getaway

The cottage was what we called a "slice of heaven". We absolutely loved it. The amount of space was more than sufficient, we had everything we needed, and Tim and Linda were very accommodating. The location is very convenient; it's only about a 5 minute drive to charming downtown Stroudsburg. We traveled to PA to get married that weekend and we wanted a nice, peaceful, relaxing place to stay before the wedding. We also wanted our dog with us, and she was more than content to sit in the sun and watch the golfers. It was a beautiful setting and we loved the sound of the creek behind the cottage. If you're looking for a getaway, this is the place. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing week-end!!!

We spent a week-end in this amazing place. The cottage is fantastic and charming. It's very comfortable and equipped with everything you need. It's located in a golf court, so there's no noise at all. Very relaxing place.
In addition, Linda and Tim (the landlords) are fantastic and very willing people! We'll come back!

Ski Getaway at The Red Cottage

What a respite! Traveling from Ocean City, Maryland was easy and worth the trip. The Red Cottage has everything a couple, family or group of friends could desire! We grilled out, cooked in, sat by the fire and played games, strolled the property, explored the stream and even got to hit the slopes and explore surrounding towns. WE WILL BE BACK any time of year as the property offers plenty of things to do year round, INCLUDING RELAXING. Spic and span all beds were very comfortable, couch was cozy, kitchen was stocked for cooking and dining room table just right. Onwer was flexible with arrival and departure and delightful to deal with.

Cozy cottage!

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage and it was perfect for the long weekend. It was very cozy and had everything my husband and I needed! Even the pup loved to run around outside and watch the golfers go by. I wish the weather was a bit nicer to us so we could sit by the outside fire pit by overall a very quiet and relaxing place to stay! I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone and even plan to stay again!

It was the perfect setting for two couples trying to get away from it all. The scenery was breathtaking. The house was nice and comfy. Most important, the house was very clean and neat. Secluded but easily accessible. The owners were very friendly and informative.
All in all, we had a fantastic time. It was more than we expected. It is a must for everyone.
