We bought this house in January of 2007 and spent 2 1/2 years remodeling it.We also implemented a strategic conservation measures on the 62 acre property by removing cedar, planting natural grasses and implementing erosion control. In addition, we spent 6 months building a 3 acre pond that had been originally created in the 1960's by LBJ when he owned this property.
This is our shared family home. It is a place where we can teach our children to respect and enjoy the beauty that mother nature has provided us. And just as important, we can teach them to be good stewards of the land as it will be here long after we are gone.
