Thank you for visiting the Shell Station, built in 2009 after Hurricane Ike. 'SHELL STATION' is 3rd row from shore, offering amazing water views. Sleeps 8 to 9; 3 Q, 2 T Murphy beds, and a full-size flip flop sofa bed. Need additional room for a larger gathering? The SHELL STATION is connected by an elevated walk-way to LUNA BELLA (VRBO 163462), which sleeps up to 10.
Very easy beach access to go romping in the waves, shoreline fishing, shell collecting, or for those beautiful sunrise beach walks. Your fresh Catch of the Day can be provided from your own skills or by the local vendors on a daily basis.
Nicely landscaped property (maintenance-free) complete with a covered deck for shade and a sun deck for soaking in the rays. Watch dolphins frolic just off shore. Relax while listening to the rhythmic sound of the Gulf of Mexico as it laps at the shores of Crystal Beach. At night, view the expansive and clear night skies. The deck completely surrounds the house and is gated for toddlers! On the upper deck, feel free to fly your own favorite colors from the installed flagpole; and bring your favorite hammock to use with the installed eye bolts!
There is a screened-in porch off the Master bedroom (called the Mermaid Lounge). Flat screen TV's with Direct TV provided at no extra cost, and Blu-Ray and full stereo system in living room. Additionally, the Shell Station features a well-equipped kitchen to include cookware, small appliances, bakeware, and even a large shrimp pot and granite countertops. The Master bathroom features a custom over-sized shower.
Downstairs you will enjoy plenty of covered / paved parking, a deluxe private hot water sand shower with two shower heads, a built in charcoal grill, picnic table, a swing, and 30 amp RV hook-up (an extra 30 $/night).

Our daughter's beach home, Luna Bella (located next to Shell Station),was our inspiration to pursue our very own dream for a relaxing beach get-away.
Most pleasurable for me are the fantastic skies at night accompanied by the breezes and sounds of the Gulf. The skies over the dark Gulf at night provide great illumination with striking views of constellations. Catching glimpses of falling stars occurs regularly.
