Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, or whale watching on one of Maui's finest beaches.

Our privately owned ONE AND TWO BEDROOM condominiums are on the fifth and sixth floors and have magnificent ocean views. They are reasonably priced, elegantly furnished and are truly a 'Home Away From Home' and a great Maui Vacation Rental.

Kihei Akahi Resort Condominium is located in the southern part of Kihei, just off the edge of Wailea Resort Area. The grounds are meticulously maintained with blooming flowers everywhere and the private lanai is perfect for dining or watching the sunsets. Some of Maui's finest swimming beaches are in this area. Pictures of Kamaole Beach Park 2 are shown on our website.

It is a soft sand beach, that gradually slopes out and is great for both swimming and snorkeling.

The resort also features two pools and a free tennis court on the premises. Around the pools are barbecues and refrigerator for a convenient snack or drink while sunning. An activity center is on site to assist with your sight seeing needs. Golf is nearby, and many shops and restaurants are within walking distance. South Maui is a quiet and peaceful area, yet the 5 star hotels of Wailkea are just minutes away.

WE PRIVATELY OWN: two one bedroom condos in the C building. They are units C-518 and C-604.

In the D building we own D-504 which is a one bedroom condo, and D-602 which is a two bedroom condo. All of our units have been redone. They all have new kitchens, new baths with walk-in showers. new king size beds, air conditioning and free wireless internet. They all are elegantly furnished and well coordinated. Everything you need will be there, including beach towels and beach chairs. Most important - they are maintained with a very high level of CLEANLINESS. ALL of the feedback on our condos comes back that they were very clean.

On our first visit to Maui, more than 20 years ago, we knew

what everyone now knows:

Within months of our Maui visit, we purchased a 'Piece Of Paradise', and have been returning several times a year ever since. We have a love of the islands and are 'True Hawaiians At Heart'.

Why The Owner chose Kihei

Before purchasing our first property on Maui, we traveled all around the island and loved the South Kihei Area for the following reasons.

- Great soft white sand swimming beaches

- Lots of sunshine - Kihei is the driest spot on the Hawaiian islands with an average rainfall of 10 inches.

- Quiet and peaceful area, yet the 5 star hotels of Wailea are just minutes away.

- Great family orientation

- Close to shops, restaurants and all attractions

What makes this condo unique

We love sitting on the lanai and wathching the sunsets.

We also enjoy taking long walks on the beach and visiting some of the local restaurants for lunch and dinner.

Kihei is a great locatation for golf and snorkeling activities.

We enjoyed our stay. The Condo was everything that it was listed as and the pictures matched the listing. The Condo was clean and well maintained and recently updated. The owner was helpful with information about the area. We most enjoyed spending our time on the lanui (balcony). The view was beautiful and we spent many hours reading and relaxing there. I would recommend this condo to anyone. We were right accross from the beach and went snorkeling 6 of the 8 days there. Good restaurants in the immediate area.

Third Summer Vacation at Kihei Akahi-#C-604 Couple

Kihei Akahi-#C-604 is a great value! It is a large one bedroom on the top (6th) floor with an ocean view.
The property is always clean, well maintained and the cleaning company is very helpful and was responsive to a request for a new smoke alarm battery.
The kitchen is well appointed and the ice maker was appreciated!
Just walk across the parking lot to Kamaole II Beach and enjoy! Do go early before the wind picks up.
The best restaurant in Kihei is 808 Bistro and it is right next door and just set back from casual Moose's Restaurant. The owner and staff are wonderful and the food has been consistently excellent over the last 3 summers of our visits. It's also BYOB!
We have already booked next summer for 3 more weeks. We would definitely recommend this condo.
The owner is caring and responds rapidly to email or phone calls.

This truly is a home away from home. There wasn't anything that we needed that was not provided. The condo was clean and well-maintained and included snorkeling gear, beach towels, beach mats, umbrellas, beach chairs, and a boogie board. The owner is very responsive to questions that were asked before arriving. It is a great home base for exploring all of South Maui, Upcountry, North Shore and West Maui. It is across the street from Kamaole I, II, and III...all nice beaches for swimming and snorkeling. It is walking distance to an ABC store, Maui specialty shops and some great restaurants including 808 Bistro and Cafe Ole. It only takes 20-30 minutes to drive to Lahaina for dinner, nightlife or to see the Old Lahaina Luau. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

Great location in Maui. We were able to view lovely sunsets right from our lanai and perfect view of the ocean too! Condo was very clean and comfortable. It was wonderful to have everything we needed, from ice coolers, to beach mats and chairs. We will be back to this property very soon! Enjoy!
