This home is just wonderful. It's practically brand new but very cozy with a lot of homey, personal touches. The house is well stocked with everything you need. The best part of the house though is the view out the back. We spent a lot of time just enjoying the beautiful view of the blueberry fields and mountain. We will definitely stay in the house again when we go back to Acadia!

My husband and I and our adult son stayed at Blueberry Cottage in July 2011. It is a lovely place, with a blueberry patch in the back, and beautiful views of Acadia National Park. With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, the space readily accomodates a family. Two bedrooms and a bath are on the second floor. The kitchen is very well equipped; we had lovely means around the dining room table while watching the light shift on the mountains. The house is close to Southwest Harbor; we bought groceries at the Food Mart, and fresh fish at Sawyer's Market. The living area is generous, with many windows looking out on the blueberry patch. It's quiet and peaceful. We will definitely come back.

As a newer property on Mt. Desert Island, this home is stunningly beautiful and immaculate. The scenic views out the picturesque windows throughout the living/dining/kitchen area are priceless! Amenities are boundless, with simply nothing imaginable lacking – fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, beautifully appointed bedrooms/baths, etc. One of the best features of this lovely home, is the location! In beautiful Southwest Harbor, it is ideally situated to explore all the beauty of Mt. Desert Island. We enjoyed boating excursions from both Bar Harbor and Northwest Harbor (plus a short stop in Asticou gardens), easily accessed Acadia National Park, and enjoyed venturing all around the island, including a remarkable visit to the Seal Cove Auto Museum. Fantastic restaurants are nearby, as is a complete grocery store just 5 minutes away. I simply can’t image a more perfectly maintained property (with the most gracious and attentive owners imaginable) in such a lovely and peaceful part of MDI.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this bright and airy cottage. It was perfect for our family of 5! The pictures and description on the website presented an accurate presentation of the property. Each of the rooms were nicely decorated and comfortably furnished. The great room was very open and spacious and provided a beautiful view of the meadow. The location of the house was great because not only it was close to town and many shops and restaurants, but it also was a great home base for all of the hiking and bike trips we took each day.

This house is new, clean, and neat, provided everything we needed for the vacation. Every one of us like to come back and stay in the future.

It had all the amenities we needed and we were very happy! We also really loved how we could continue on Long Pond Road to get to hiking trails and swimming holes.

Your home was perfect for us- very private, secluded and scenic. We enjoyed hiking, biking and kayaking Acadia. What a great park and island.
We were sorry to see the trip come to an end.

We loved the living room/ dining room area. Opening all the windows in those rooms makes you feel like you're sitting outside on the comfort of the couch - outstanding! Everything was great!
