Classic Cape Vacation!

My sister's family and my family enjoyed a wonderful vacation in this very spacious and charming home. The house was very clean and lovingly cared for, with gracious, comfortable decor and a well-equipped kitchen. While there is no air conditioning (one wouldn't expect it in a classic house like this) there are plenty of fans if the temperature soars (as well as a window AC unit if you really need it). The yard is large and lovely and the beach is only a short walk away. On most days we were the only ones on it! Hyannis (with plenty of restaurants and shops) and Centerville (with Four Seas Ice Cream!) are a short drive away, and other Cape attractions are very easy to reach from this central location. The owners are great to deal with, too. If you are looking for a classic Cape vacation in an historic home in a quiet neighborhood in walking distance of the beach, this is it! [While not particularly classic, the flat screen TV was great for watching the Olympics!]
Owner's Response: We were tenants at the home in Hyannis Port in July. We had an excellent experience as well and hope to return next year. The review submitted August 28th is accurate and truthful and well said. I would like to thank the owners for a more than generous experience. The house served our large group well. They have put a lot of time and effort into the amenities, including more than enough dishes, cooking utensils and linens. For an antique home, the comforts are current with the 21 st century. More importantly, we met wonderful people at the beach, in town and next door. My sincere thanks to the owners for a happy and care free vacation.
