Quiet! Next to the beach, literally you fall out of bed and then a hop to the beautiful beach! House is amazing! Huge kitchen and dining room, 2 refrigerators in this casual but beautifully decorated home with the most wonderful sun room! Great family gathering place or for those wishing to have a wonderful, relaxing vacation or reunion! Plenty of sight seeing or just chilling! Close to everything! Do not miss thiss opportunitiy!

This house is a great find in a beautiful neighborhood. It's perfect for anyone from a couple up to a family with lots of kids. Plenty of bedrooms and places to hide. Walk to the beach which is right down the street, or it's a 5 minute drive to the center of Hyannis for shopping and restaurants. The owners have a small house on the property but don't let that worry you. After you meet them you'll feel like you've known them for years and you'll be inviting them for dinner.

this was a perfect house to help celebrate ALL our June birthdays. WE ranged in age from 87 to 5month old twins. we were a gathering of 20 people and we thought this house was perfect. The weather for us was not great but the beauty was it kept us all together and there was plenty of room in this house to find some quiet time or join in the game fun both indoors and out. ALot of family history in the house both to view and read about. We did not need to go anywhere as beach was right around corner and we had plenty to do at the house, but if you needed additional eating or entertainment it was 5minutes up the road to center of Hyannis
we also had the cute cottage which provided additional space and was perfect for additional "quiet time' from the larger crowd. The house and cottage were meticulus and equipped with anything you might need.
Defenitely a great family friendly house and we hope to come back again to enjoy better weather!

This home is everything we were looking for! It is HUGE! Family members could be together or be alone-whatever your choice! One could be found reading quietly on the screened porch while everyone else was playing bocce ball or touch football in the large yard! We totally enjoyed discovering every nook and cranny! We were totally taken with the history of the home as well as the lovely antiques-it said "Welcome! Stay a while and ENJOY!" the moment we walked in! Plenty of "oohhs and ahhs!" as we walked around ! It did not take us long to feel right at home!The dining room table brought us many evenings of laughter, joy and memories! FULLY stocked, comfy beds, towels, toys for the kiddies and LARGE bedrooms! Location is superb-walk to the beach (very quiet! NO blaring radios!!), stores, walk/jog through the neighborhood. Very secure! Idealic spot! You will not be disappointed! Only hope is that it's not taken when we want to return-we think it's a "keeper"! The owners are VERY friendly and GREAT to deal with! Our only regret? That our mutual schedules didn't allow us to have them over for dinner as they are totally delightful people whom we'd want to get to know better! Don't miss this place-GREAT for ALL ages!

We have stayed in both the larger and smaller home on this amazing property. Our family includes myself, husband, two children (7 and 9) and my mother in law who is in her 70s. The conveniences in this beautiful home made our time away from home relaxing and enjoyable for everyone.
The large home had a great BBQ which allowed us to make family style meals. We loved the huge dining room and enjoyed playing cards and games. The sun porch and outside shower were also lovely. This was a fabulous rental and my growing family will surely return. My highlight moment was relaxing under the huge old tree in the front yard. A neighborhood labrador even stopped over and sat beside me while I daydreamed and read. If you are looking for this type of home away from home you are in for an amazing family vacation. If you want big screen TVs and a expresso machine keep looking. We loved it!

This was a great family vacation - just right for all 3 generations! All the kids - aged 3 to 73 had a fabulous time. The house was perfect for a large family. Many comfortable rooms to gather young and old.
It obviously has been loved and maintained over the years by this helpful, flexible family. We so appreciated the extra effort they went to in making us all feel at home.
A better rental property could not be found on the Cape - and especially in the idyllic town of Hyannis Port. We will definitely return again!

Our family stayed at this house for two weeks this summer. The house is very big and is good for many people. We had many kids. The house is not that kid friendly and is more designed for adults who are into antique furtniture and older houses. The yard was great. The TV situation is pretty bad as there are only two small TV's. Some of the bedrooms have very old mattresses and not too comfortable. The number of bedrooms was nice but there really are not to many places for a large family to relax and hand out. I do not reccomend this house for family with younger kids but it would be ok for older adults.

Our extended family rented this spacious, classic Cape Cod home for a long weekend in October. There was plenty of room for grandparents, and 3 families with very young children to stay comfortably! The quintessential Cape home has every amenity for entertaining. For meals we spread out in the gorgeous dining room, family room and sun porch. We walked to the beach with strollers and wagons and the kids made sandcastles. There is so much space inside to spread out that we never felt crowded. It's cozy and clean and full of charm. The ocean surrounds you everywhere within a 5 minute walk where you can stare out to sea at the boats and seagulls and just relax the way Cape Cod was meant to be for the past 10 decades. Hyannis Port is THE classic Cape Cod village and is one of the most beautiful, charming places on earth. Stay at home, or explore the Cape; either way you'll love residing in this perfect vacation house.
