LITTLE PIECE OF MAINE HEAVEN
WHAT A FANTASTIC HOME AND LOCATION..FORGET THE 1 MILLION DOLLAR VIEW ITS A10 MILLION DOLLAR VIEW FROM EVERY ASPECT OF THE HOUSE.AS A CONTRACTOR I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE THOUGHTFUL LOCATION OF EVERY WINDOW AND FRENCH DOOR OFFERING SPECTACULAR VIEWS ...BELIEVE ME THATS NO EASY TASK....THE CRAFTMENSHIP OF THE WORK IN AND AROUND THE HOUSE IS IMPRESSIVE..I WOULD SAY EVERYTHING NEEDED TO HAVE A INCREDIBLE VACATION HAS BEEN ADDRESSED...RAI BIANCHI (OWNER) WAS AS EXCITED ABOUT OUR VACATION AS WE WERE.FROM THE GET GO. HE CALLED US AFTER WE INQUIRED ON HOMEAWAY...HE COULDN'T BE MORE HELPFUL.AND WE E-MAILED AND TALKED UP AND THRU OUR VACATION...WE LOVED CANOEING ON THE LAKE AND ON OUR RAINY DAYS THERE WERE LOTS OF GAMES,PUZZLES, AND MOVIES TO PASS THE TIME.THE INFORMATION BOOK ABOUT HOUSE WAS HELPFUL.INFO ABOUT ISLAND WAS ALSO GREAT. WE WERE HESITANT TO RENT ONLINE BUT I CAN SAY THIS HAS BEEN A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE. THE HOUSE IS CLEAN,PAPER PRODUCTS AND LINENS WERE PROVIDED AND IN GOOD CONDITION,NO CLOSED UP SMELL ALTHOUGH WE RENTED EARLY IN SEASON. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK AND WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WANTING TO VISIT ACADIA NAT PARK

Exceptional Experience
Our experience at Top O’ The Ridge was exceptional! The view is outstanding and even better in person than on the internet. The house is bright, spacious, clean and full of helpful amenities, including everything you need to cook delicious meals and a wonderful DVD collection. The swim dock makes playing on the lake easy whether swimming or by canoe. We had a great time with our kids and plan on going back next year!

Tranquil Home on Long Pond
I just don't know where to start. I could write a story book of our spectacular time at this vacation home.
I would highlight several points:
1) Outstanding location to relax away from the hustle & bustle of Bar Harbor. We felt like we were the only ones on this island. It's beautifully nestled/perched on Northern Nook Island. Although we were surrounded by homes, where we could not even see them the whole time.
2) Outstanding accommodations. We had everything we needed from comfortable beds, ample room to move about with 6 adult and 1 child, and plenty of bathrooms for all of us to get ready at the same time without running out of hot water... :), I would also add they had all the kitchen wares to allow us to have a great "New England Clam Bake/Lobster" meal and
3) Outstanding caretaker. He was available whenever we needed something, which was on just two occasions.
Best of all, Mr. Bianchi "Owner" was so so attentive to our needs. He wanted to make sure that we had a fabulous time in his family's vacation home. Kudos to him for accommodating our outdoor activity to use some canoes from a nearby business, considering Maine had a tremendous wind storm that came through and ripped apart their dock where we could not use their dock and canoe.
We would definitely return to "Top O' The Ridge" Home. We have even contemplated in coming again for a winter vacation and definitely another fall vacation.

Absolutely perfect!
This house provided an absolutely perfect Acadia vacation experience. Perched right on the water, we woke up each morning to the Million Dollar view. Even after 7 days we were still in awe of the light reflecting on the water and the absolute calm and tranquility of this spot, it's easy to believe you're the only people on this lake, no other boats, no noise whatsoever!
The house is as perfect as the view, fully stocked with absolutely EVERYTHING you'll need for a perfect vacation, including a canoe.
We came with 3 kids under the age of 6 and found the house perfectly stocked for a family, there were even movies and bins of toys for a rainy day. We loved our stay and plan to return next year!
