Great party pad!

My party and I had a great weekend at Super Bowl XLVII. Deborah and Ray took great care of us. Deborah was waiting at the house for us when we arrived from the airport and gave us all a tour of the house to start off with. The place has a full kitchen (which we did not use at all since this is NOLA and there's too much great food to be had elsewhere), and laundry facilities if you need them.
Deborah set us up with plenty of bottled water to keep us hydrated (good call) and then left us to our business. The house was clean and well stocked with towels and blankets. There is a nice little pergola porch area with table and chairs to hang out with when the weather is nice.
The neighborhood surrounding this house is very interesting and has a great little concentration of excellent restaurants. Must-tries are: Jaques-Imo's, Dante's Kitchen, and Brigtsen's. Try the brunch at Dante's it was fantastic! These are al very close and in walking distance.
This place is nicely removed from the French Quarter, so it is quiet by comparison. You are about 4 blocks from the St Charles Streetcar line which will take you right to Bourbon Street, and a taxi ride is about $30 with tip.
If you have a large-ish, tight-knit group this place is great.

Deborah and Ray did an outstanding job of maintaining the house and catering to our needs. The house is in a perfect location and provided more than enough room to sleep 10 people. Overall we had an amazing and experience and will definately return in the future

We were very please with this home, it was well supplied with towels and necessities. We found it clean and we felt very comfortable and safe. It was close enough to Bourbon Street so we could enjoy the chaos, yet far enough away with some very good local restaurants to enjoy.

Excellent Stay!

My friends and I stayed at this beautiful home while were in town celebrtaing the national championship. We had a great time and staying at this house made it even better. There was plenty of sleeping room, ample bathroom space, a great kitchen, and several TVs for us to watch the football games. The beautiful courtyard was a great area for us to chill out in and enjoy the beautiful New Orleans weather. We really liked the location of the house as it was close to downtown and right around the corner from several shops, bars, and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

My stay was amazing!! It was located in a SAFE historic section section of uptown NOLA. Our host was incredibly helpful & friendly. The house exceeded our expectations & we will definitely be staying there again!!

We had a family gathering this past weekend and the house was very clean. There was enough linen to accomodate our large family. There were also two sets of working washers/dryers. The a/c system worked fine and our stay overall was pleasurable. The host was nice and we would highly recommend this property.

beds with filthy linens, mold growing on one of the beds, a broken bed frame on the other, 4th bed in an attic with a non-functioning a/c window unit. "fully equiped kitechen" means a stove and oven that dont work, a refrigerator full of spoiled food and a freezer full of food. the bathroom is full of old personal items and the entire house if full of "junk" jalore. the owner refused to refund our money when we saw the conditions and then as we discovered more issues with the house she refused to return our calls or emails. as for the "washer/dryer" forget it, brand new units that aren't hooked up.

Wow! We had a great time

My family and I slept the night away and partied all day long. The accommodations were just what the butler called for. The house sleeps 12 people with ease. The neighborhood is great and full of life. The walk to the streetcar was breathe taking. The tree lined street provided great cover from the sun. The house was stocked with plenty of linen and was very clean. The house reminds me of a movie set. Beautiful details and a lesson in art. This stay is for the lazy travel who likes to take it easy.

I just spent a fantastic weekend in New Orleans with several of my closest friends, most of us staying at this wonderful accommodation. It really does sleep 12 or more, but why sleep when you are in New Orleans? The surrounding neighborhood is quiet yet full of life, with great dining options like Squeal BBQ right around the corner, and a five minute walk to one of New Orleans' best music venues, the Maple Leaf Bar, as well as the best place I have eaten in the city, Jacques-Imo's Cafe. The streetcar is also convenient and a cab to the quarter is about $15.
The house has a great covered picnic area in the front yard, and a beautiful front porch, complete with a swing! The owner was very friendly, and provided us with a huge amount of bottled water and tons of linens, in addition to a fully equipped kitchen. If you are looking to a great, comfortable base for exploring one of America's most picturesque cities, and have a large group that doesn't need a lot of privacy, this is definitely the place you want.
