Very central. : Villefranche is very central to all the exciting areas along the Cote d'Azur. It is located on the coast road between Nice and Monaco and is particularly suitable for children as the station and buses are very close . Villefranche is a very historic location .... walk along 'Rue Obscure' to get some idea of France in the 14 the century. There are 2 old forts . The Old Town (4 minutes walk) has a bakery, small supermarket, newsagent, pub, many restaurants , art galleries etc. This is not just a tourist village ... most of the occupants live there.
Free parking: The kitchen and bathrooms are fitted out to the highest standard. The most impressive feature is the commanding view and the quiet location yet close to all the restaurants and shops. Parking outside is in a garage and on the road if you have a second car. Shopping can be in the Old Town or a bigger supermarket in Beaulieu-sur-Mer (1 stop) , next to the train station.
