Our family from England (2 adults and 2 teens) really enjoyed our stay in this home. The house is quirky, a little old fashioned but we felt that added to its charm and it felt very much like a home that had been loved and lived in. The house was spotlessly clean on arrival and had recently been decorated which gave it a fresh feeling. The kitchen was really well equipped with utensils and we enjoyed cooking at home. There was amble room for us all to spread out due to the 2 sitting areas. As Brits we thought the washing machine and dryer were huge and actually enjoyed using them! We stayed here during Hurricane Irene and the house had all the equipment we needed to see us through when we lost power and a lovely neighbour came to check that we had all we needed and give us some advice to stay safe. We loved the beaches, towns, walks and bike rides and the Hot Chocolate Sparrow was a firm favourite for ice creams and snacks. The garden is a bit wild and has tons of trees but was nice to sit out in and cook on the BBQ.
The house is a bit dated but it is also very comfortable and homely and we really enjoyed our time staying in it. If you are looking for modern and super- up- to- date this property might not suit you but if you want some real character and a sense of staying in a loved home this is an ideal property. My son's one piece of criticism was he would have loved a bigger TV (it is quite small) but we were not bothered by this at all. Lovely home with real character, close to lots of great places and very helpful and kind agent. Really enjoyed our stay in this unique property.

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for your lovely comments! It helps us to make the home more comfortable for our tenants. You can tell your son, there is now not only a bigger 32" TV, but a smaller TV in the back bedroom!
