Amazing, simply amazing ...
Words cannot describe how beautiful a home this gorgeous place is. It
is a stunning 4 bedroom mini-palace with one of the most ambitious and
sumptuous game rooms you can imagine. The 12-person theater is a
dream come true for most of us. The 20' shuffle board is the longest
and best I have seen. And the gym ... oh my goodness, the gym! Wish
I never had to leave. I rented this place on a July week in 2010, and
my guest and I had the time of our lives. We rent regularly up the
north and this is by far the most stunning house we have ever rented.
There is so much to do that we had to drag ourselves onto the all
sports lake; we never wanted to leave the cabin, and I am not sure who
would ever call this mini-castle a cabin! We rented a canoe from The
Landing and jet skis from Summertime Rental. Mullett Lake is the
fifth largest lake in Michigan, and it feeds into Indian River. With
that said, we felt as if we were in our own little oasis.
The lake was gorgeous, the property is beyond description, and the
amenities were spot on. It is by far the most technologically advanced
rental property I have ever stayed in aside from a gorgeous villa I
once rented in Bel Air. My master suite had a steam room and it was
hard for me to pull my husband out of it most mornings. The chef's
kitchen was to die for. They have a local housekeeper, Terry, who is
available for a very reasonable rate. We bought local fish from Kiki
Fish Market and it was delicious. And the grill room is one of the
key notes of the house. I wish I could describe it better.
I will certainly be back, and so will each one of the guests that I
hosted at the Mullett Lake cabin. The owner must be a collector of
art, a lover of life, and a man with amazing taste. Rob, the property
manager, was helpful in every way. See you this winter!
