Welcome to our home, when you first walk in you will feel like you are home. Luxurious 5 bedroom home with 3 full baths, fully equipped, kitchen, wireless internet, covered patio with a grill for outside grilling, fenced in pool area which has a basketball hoop in pool for families and extended families to enjoy. Pool has a shallow end which is great for small children to play in and then it gradually drops to 5 1/2 ft. deep. Our home is located next to a huge park where your children can safely play. Games, cable TV, and movies for entertainment. Some of the best golf courses within minutes from our home. For shoppers, malls are within 10 minutes from the house and the well known Mesa Swap Meet is a few blocks away. We are located only 8 miles from Phoenix/Mesa Airport (Williams Gateway) where Allegiant Airlines flies into, and about 25 minutes from the SkyHarbor Airport.

Great House, pool too cold to use, would not rent again
I will start by sayin the owner was great with communication before and during our stay. Travelled with my two sons (2 years old and 7 months), my husband, in-laws, and brother in law and his gf. The house was great with a ton of space. Was kid friendly as well. There is a nice park next to the house and in a quiet neighborhood. However, the reason we picked this house over other places was the fact it was advertised having its own private, heated pool. I understand that in February it can be cooler at nights and even during the day, however we expected the pool to be heated accordingly. The day we got to AZ, it was 72 degrees out, so decent...the pool was 68 making it way too cold for small children or adults to use for that matter. We stayed from feb 19-28th at the house and were unable to use the pool once. So if you are expecting a heated pool, i wouldn't consider 68 heated...you may want to find a place that keeps their pool warmer. Also, the pool guy came on the Thursday and said the heat wasn't even working then because all the filters were plugged. This put a damper on the vacation as we expected to be able to use the pool morning, noon and night if we had wanted too. We were fortunate that my parents own a trailer in Mesa, and have a community pool which is kept at 90 degrees..this is what i consider heated (even 80 deg at our house pool would have been nice enough to use). So if you are travelling and are booking this place for the heated pool, i would reconsider. The house is beautiful and well maintained, but the only reason we booked this place was to have our own pool. We definitely would have booked elsewhere had we known the pool is only kept around 70 degrees. I am still hoping we get some of our money back as this place costs more to rent than many others..and we were not able to use the ammenities that were advertised.

Owner's Response: Unfortunately as a homeowner I can not predict the weather. I have a heat pump to heat the pool and with night time temps in the mid to upper 20's and daytime temps in the low to mid 60's it's just not able to keep up. Whoever guessed that it would snow in Mesa as they did get snow during that week. A hot tub would of been perfect but unforunately I don't have one. As for the rental price, I include all taxes required by the City of Mesa and the State of Arizona (which is 15.02%) in my quote that a give renters. This is not always included in the price of other rentals. I feel that I am more than fair with the rental price. I make myself available to all my renters when they are staying at the house and if a problem does accur I try to address it as best as am able to. Please check off my other reviews. I was very happy with this rental. It was just as described on vrbo, and it was clean and well maintained. The owner was great to deal with leading up to our stay. I would recommend this property and would gladly stay there again.

The property worked out very well for vacation. My son, his wife and their triplets (2 years old) joined us for the week. The pool was perfect for the kids and adults with the waterfall an added bonus. The house was well maintained and in excellent condition with a perfect layout for our visit.

Fantastic House!
The house was large, lovely, clean and comfortable. The nearby golf course and playground were fantastic. The pool provided hours of family fun. And the owner was responsive and great to work with. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Couldn't ask for a better house!
Couldn't ask for a better house!
We're not too sure where the start. This house was AMAZING and perfect for us!! It far exceeded our expectations. We went down with 6 adults, a 23 month old, a 20 month old, and a 4 year old. There were SO many great "kid" features...like how the pool was fenced in for safety, the shallow area of the pool, the green grassy area in the back yard, the park next door, and the list goes on!! The area was great, and close to SO many things...like grocery stores and restaurants. Dealing with the owner couldn't have been better. She was always, ALWAYS quick with responses, and VERY easy to deal with. We didn't realize the pool was "supposed" to be at 80 degrees (the heater wasn't quite right), and it did get a bit dirty at one point, but as soon as I contacted the owner, the pool guy was over. Being true Canadians, we didn't even mind the chilly pool. Overall, it was a GREAT vacation, and this house couldn't have been ANY better!!

Christmas 2011
This home was outstanding. We have never rented a home like this before and I was nervous about the process. Everything went very smooth. The owner was great to work with when it came to the billing, contract and general questions. The listing decribes the home very well and the home has so much more than the add can tell. When we arrived everything was clean and all we had to do was unpack our items and hit the grocery store and we where ready to relax. I would recommend this property to anyone with a family of five or more, or two families. It is an extremely roomy home with plenty of space to spend time with the your family inside or out on the patio. We used the park everyday since it is right next door to this home. It is a very safe neighborhood, very light traffic and no dogs barking right next door. Our family would like to come back to this home during the summer months so we can spend more time in the pool. The room this home has allowed us to have family over for Christmas Dinner and all the kitchen utensils and everything we needed was there making it a wonderful Christmas and excellent vacation.

Although the house was very nice, the pool never did work or the upstairs bath tub in the main bedroom. The only reason we rented this place was to use the pool for a family vacation. We were very dissapointed but understand these things can happen. Funny though, after trying to contact the owners they would not respond and chose to ignore us.
To say it left a bad feeling about the vacation is an understatement. We all saved money to take this one trip and feel like we had been ripped off.
I would never reccomend this place to someone knowing what you pay for is not what you get.

Owner's Response: The day temperature for this visit was in the lower 60's and night time temp even colder which was one of the reasons why the pool's heater couldn't keep up along with the fact that the renters messed with the pump valves and shut the water flow off to the pump which in turn shuts the heater off. As owners of vacation homes we can not predict the weather. I feel bad that they couldn't swim but then again who would want to swim in 60 degree weather. I do not advertise that I have a hottub. I was not aware that the bath tub facet did not work until after the fact, there is a separate shower in the same bathroom. It has been fixed, the filter in the facets was clogged. I have always made myself available for renters to either call or e-mail me during their stay at my home and tried to work out any problems or concerns. But sometimes you can't please everyone even though you try. I do believe that these renters wanted me to refund their money in full and if I didn't they would do anything to damage my rentals. Perfect home for a family fun filled vacation!!
This house is Fabulous!! Plenty of room for the 6 adults and 3 children that stayed here. The house is very well stocked with all you would need. The pool was wonderful and we loved that it was fenced, especially with the little ones. The big park next door is really nice and there is also another bigger park just down the road next to the school. Close to shopping, the mesa swap meet, baseball games, and the Phoenix Zoo. Best of all, the owner was WONDERFUL to work with, we would defintely stay here again!!

Perfict Home away from Home
This home was tailormade for our family needs. We spent two weeks vacationing with children and grandchildren. The green space and the playstructure next to the home was perfect for the grandchildren. The pool is beautifully gated so the little ones could still play outside in the backyard. This is a beautifull spacious home, well maintained, has everything you need, right down to the pool towels. It is close to Mesa Market Place Swap Meet, not too far from the Mayo Clinic, and lots of great hiking. Comments such as "this is an ideal place", "I would come back in a heartbeat" could be heard.

Beautiful home!
The pictures of this home do not do it jusctice. It is a beautiful home with a very spacious living/ kitchen area and separate living room. The bedrooms are large with fairly comfortable beds. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for cooking. The house is immaculately cared for with very neutral, tasteful decorating. The pool is fantastic! One whole end of the pool has a shallow sitting area that was so fun for my younger kids who cannot yet swim. There is a green park right next to this house with one neighbor to the side and no houses in front of, or behind you. It is just a beautiful home for such a low price. We would definately stay here again!
