Setting: Kihei Beach #310 is right on Sugar Beach, which is one of the best Maui beaches. It is adjacent to the Kealia National Wildlife Preserve, which extends for about four miles. In season, there can be whales a couple of hundred of yards off the beach. When snorkeling, you can see endangered sea turtles, reef fish, and coral, just off the shoreline.

the Condo: This unit has been completely remodeled within the past few years. There is a new kitchen with custom made cabinets, granite countertops, and it is furnished with the new appliances. There is a washer/dryer right in the unit. The master bedroom has a new Cal King sized bed and the second bedroom has two singles which can be combined to make a king sized bed, if desired.

the View: The condo is an end unit right on the beach. The dining area has a southern view right down the Kihei coast. The lanai view faces west and you can watch fabulous sunsets every evening.

We have owned condos on Sugar Beach since 1996. Now we are splitting our time between Maui and the mainland.

Pam or Bill Schwartau purchased this condo in 2003

the people are friendly, the view is spectacular, and the weather is great. The resort is centrally located on Maui and most areas are only a short drive.

Returning guests for outrigger canoeing and snorkeling

We have probably rented this condo every year since the owners bought it. It has been the perfect location for us, especially after we found out that we could go outrigger canoeing with the canoe club Tuesday and Thursday visitor days. It is their fundraiser so a small donation is expected. We can look out the unit's window to see when visitors are gathering.

We'll be returning in 2013 which we think will be our 11th year of enjoying this condo.

The Pacific Whale Foundation whale watches out of nearby Ma'alaea Harbor are great in the winter time. The Ocean Center Aquarium near the harbor is very nice.

There is a Farmer's Market (Monday through Friday) and an ABC store right across the street which very handy.

Nicest Condo We Have Stayed In On Maui

We have gone to Maui every year for the past 10 years, and this condo is the nicest and best maintained of any we have occupied. From the granite counters to the tile floors to the lanai where we could watch the canoe club members on the water each morning to the in-unit laundry facilites, everything about this unit made our stay enjoyable.

Owners responded promptly to any questions we had as we were arranging our stay.

We already have a return visit booked.
