The apartment is clean and newly renovated. The brand-new bathroom features heated floors, ample storage space and a large shower (shower head & rain shower). The galley-style kitchen has a full-size fridge, gas stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, pots & pans, knives, cooking & eating utensils, and some spices – everything you need to make a snack or a full meal. The bedroom window and balcony have bay views (Berkeley to Alcatraz). Two closets provide hanging and shelf space. The front south-facing balcony porch looks over the yard. Furnishings are a mixture of new and vintage, providing a genuine at-home environment.

The property is located in the Aquatic Park of Russian Hill, just 2 blocks from the bay (Hyde Street Pier). Walk only a few blocks to popular destinations like Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Hyde Street Pier, North Beach (Little Italy), Russian Hill, and the Embarcadero. The famous San Francisco cable car stops ½ block from the property and takes you up Russian Hill, through Nob Hill, down to Union Square and Market Street (down-town shopping area). Walk one block to bus lines that take you East, West, and South through the City, to many of San Francisco's great attractions.

This is a place to feel at home when on vacation – a place you will want to kick-off your shoes after a full day of site seeing or if you feel like staying in one day. Walk to an amazing selection of restaurants or pick up groceries a few blocks away for a home cooked meal (Trader Joe's & Safeway). We made this place comfortable like home, we think you will agree.

When we first came to California we immediately fell in love with San Francisco. It's a small city tightly packed with wonderful people, places, food, nature, and activities. We are a family that loves spending time with friends, visiting museums/art shows, taking long walks with our dogs, shopping in our local shops, dining at our favorite restaurants, traveling to new places, and sometimes leaving the city for the Muir Woods or the Wine Country.

Overall, the apartment is exactly as pictured, very clean and comfortable. The heated floors in the bathroom were great! Definitely a nice alternative to staying in a hotel, in terms of both price and having more room. It was also nice having the kitchen, where you could have a quick breakfast in the morning. The location is in walking distance to a variety of things and also close to public transportation. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect!

Everything about this place was GREAT! My husband and I just returned from a weeks stay in San Francisco and stayed at the property for the whole week. It was in a really nice area and we felt very comfortable. The owner, Lev, lives close by and was very helpful. He gave us some insight to the area, as this was our first time in San Francisco.

I am very particular about where I stay, especially weird about the bed/bedding. I often say that the only bed I feel comfortable staying in is a 4 star hotel. That being said, I slept like a baby every night.

I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the accommodations!

This place is perfect

My wife and I stayed here for a week-long get away for my 40th birthday. With the kids at home, we were excited to spend some time in the city. And this place was perfect. We used to live in San Francisco, and the location of this flat is ideal - 3 blocks to Ghiradelli Square and the ocean, 1 block to north beach, 3 blocks to Lombard Street. The street is busy, but the flat is located about 50 yards back, so it's very quiet and protected. The outside is a plain vanilla, but the inside is warm and inviting. The flat is quaint and nicely appointed. Everything is updated. The bathroom is very nice and includes heated floors. The kitchen had everything we needed. And, although it's not really described in the narrative or pictures, there is a small deck and view of San Francisco bay. You can see the ocean from the bed, for pete's sakes. Overall, it's a gem. We will definitely stay here again.

Well appointed studio, excellent location

My husband and I (and our little JRT, Mia) recently spent 3 nights at this lovely property. When we booked our stay Tamara was exceptionally helpful and provided us with information on travel from the airport (she save us a $50 cab fare), public transportation and local shopping/dining. We found the studio to be very clean and well-maintained. The bed was exceptionally comfy (or maybe we were just exceptionally tired?). Our only wish was that the bathroom floor heat was turned on as the mornings are a little chilly! The studio boasts a little courtyard/balcony at the front of the property but they were not very esthetically pleasing, which is unfortunate, as it would be a very nice outdoor seating area. The location, as others have mentioned, is excellent and we took advantage of checking out a few of the restaurants on nearby Hyde Street (caution...it's all uphill!!). All in all, this property is EXCELLENT VALUE for the money and much nicer than staying in a hotel! Thanks Tamara and family!!

Great place to stay in SF!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here. The condo is updated (much nicer inside than out), with nice modern features and a great view of the bay! Tamara was very helpful leading up to our stay and gave us more than enough information about the apartment and the area, and she returned the deposit without any hassle afterwards. Everything in the booklet they provide you is accurate and looks as good in person as it does in the pictures.

The area surrounding feels very safe as well. There are lots of people around at all hours and you're right near popular Muni lines for getting anywhere in the city. Lots of amenities in walking distance nearby including coffee shops, grocery stores, Wallgreens, restaurants, etc.

My only little gripe is that the neighbours were a little loud on Friday and Saturday nights, but that is to be expected in a city on weekends, and was easily remedied with some ear plugs. Every other day was quiet and peaceful.

We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place over a hotel any day.

Great San Francisco Flat!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely updated flat. It has everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. It is tucked away down a short walkway between two buildings and doesn't look promising from the front but as soon as you open the door and see the modern furnishings,10' high ceilings and spacious room you'll immediately relax. It is very quiet inside and has a fantastic view of the bay from the bedroom area sliding door. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is fantastic. It has heated floors which are so nice when it's chilly outside and the shower is awesome with the handheld shower head as well as an overhead rain shower.
The location is really great, walking distance to the bay and the aquatic park, 1 block from Ghirardelly square and close to Fisherman's Wharf and Lombard Street. If you're up for the walk up Hyde Street there are some fantastic restaurants in Russian Hill, we ate at Zarzuela and loved it! Great Tapas and wine. There's also Luella and Seven Hills which are two of our favorites.
The property owners/managers are very friendly and responsive, we had a minor issue with the TV which they promptly fixed. The apartment is clean and spotless and the queen size bed has a nice, very firm mattress. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Fun place to stay

We stayed for 4 nights. Was a great location. A block from the cable cars and a easy walk to Fishermens Wharf. The apartment is very clean and adorable. Owners were there as soon as we arrived to show us around the apartment and get keys. Will be staying here again. Loved San Francisco!!!!

We stayed at this apartment while we were in town visiting our son and daughter-in-law. Besides having beautiful weather, we felt right at home in this apartment. The description of this listing is exactly as it says although the view is much better in person than in the photo. The bed is very comfortable and the heated floor in the bathroom is the best. Tamara was very helpful before we arrived in answering all of our questions. This apartment is in the perfect location for any activity you'd want to do in SF. We would highly recommend this apartment and will stay here in the future.

Well appointed, spotless, quiet, comfortable, perfect sightseeing location with easy access to Fisherman's Wharf, and a view of the harbor! Wow! The trolley takes you to BART.
