Nikos´ apartment could not be a better location. It is 2-3 minutes from the gates of the Acropolis park (and the metro station) and the excellent Acropolis Museum. That means it is also near a large pedestrian promenade that runs along the foot of the Acropolis, which is useful for navigating the city. In this area there is also a string of restaurants that, while somewhat touristy, had good food at reasonable prices. Nikos told us which was his favourite and we had a good experience there. He works right around the corner and knows the neighbourhood well.

Across the street from the apartment there are some amenities: a laundromat and a couple of decent bars, and further along a grocery store and bakery.

Despite the apartment´s proximity to sites, the street it is on is quiet and felt quite safe, even late at night.

The apartment is comfortable and the AC works well (which is important in Athens). The kitchen was convenient.

Nikos was friendly and very prompt in responding to email. He gave us his cell phone number and encouraged us to call him at any time if we had a question or a problem arose. He took the time to give us an orientation to the neighborhood and recommend a few less-visited destinations (like the neighbourhood of Gazi).

The apartment is very well located, right near Acropolis museum. We walked to almost everything. Should especially mention Nikos - our host - who shaped our first time in Athens with his great advice, during the entire stay. Thank you, it was wonderful!

It' a very nice and cozy place to stay in, fully equipped with everything that one might need during a stay away from home. Within walking distance there are stops of all means of public transport in Athens, and through those you can also make connections to everywhere you might want to go.
Suits well both personal and business needs, as the owner, Nikos issues invoices. Nikos proved to be helpful and responsive.

This a fantastic place to stay if you wish to combine your vacation with comfort at the heart of historic Athens.

The best place I ever stayed in Athens. I am a frequent traveler to Athens and this beautifully decorated flat exceeded my expectations by far. Easily accessible to all of Athens, at the footsteps of Acropolis, next to the new Acropolis museum surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. The flat has all the comforts that any 4 or 5 star hotel provides.

We stayed at the apartment while touring Athens for 3 days in June 2012.
The apartment is in a great location being situated around the corner from
the new Acropolis museum and a few blocks from Plaka. It is also within easy walking of most tourist sites and minutes from public transportation. The
apartment is clean and comfortable with a nicely furnished bedroom and
living room and a well equiped kitchen (which unfortunately lacks a table
and chairs). Perhaps most importantly for a summer visit, the air
conditioners worked perfectly!

Nikos was very helpful in providing suggestions on what to see and do during
our stay. He also made himself available if anything should come up
(nothing did). We would definitely consider staying there again and would
recommend the apartment to others.

a great apartment for a single person or couple visiting Athens. Great location, and the pictures Niko has on the site are 100% accurate. a 1 bedroom flat by Athens standards thats huge but for an American, exactly the size you would expect. Great cafes and restaurants surround the building and for American travelers who dont know the Greek language, this apartment is located across the street from a hotel/restaurant that cateers to American college kids and serves great burgers, fries and chicken wings. If you dont bring your laptop, the hotel across the street has computer/internet access for 3 EU/hour. Niko is a very nice man, speaks excellent english and is quick to reply to a question or any issue that can arise from day to day. you wont go wrong staying in this apartment

This little appartement is very cosy and has a lot of comfort. It is very well placed, right in the centrum of Athens. What was also great is that the appartement had every thing you needed. I spend a very romantic week with my husband and left for home relaxed.

My parents and I stayed for 4 nights in this flat (located on the 1st floor of an old buidling) in mid-september 2011. Globally, the flat is nice and is nicely located in Athens to allow one to explore the main sights of the city by foot - expect 5 minutes to reach the Acropolis and 2 minutes to get to the Acropolis Museum. The flat is well suited for 3 people, but no more. The main bedroom and the bathroom are well presented, the kitchen is OK, but a little nice touch could be added to the living room (e.g. a more comfortable bed could be added to replace the existing one). On the pros is the fact that the flat is secured by additional windows in both the living-room and the bedroom. However, upon our arrival, we found a kitchen that had not been cleaned before (likely the mistake of the previous guests, but still), opening the window in the bathroom is at your risk (there is so much moisture on just the outside of the window that it smells very bad in the whole room in less than 15 minutes), and the washing machine is not self-explained (some instructions written on the machine would have been useful). It would have been nice also to receive some advices on places to eat, where is the closest supermarket... Overall, this is a good flat, but it could be improved with not so much effort.
