Good but could be improved with little effort
My parents and I stayed for 4 nights in this flat (located on the 1st floor of an old buidling) in mid-september 2011. Globally, the flat is nice and is nicely located in Athens to allow one to explore the main sights of the city by foot - expect 5 minutes to reach the Acropolis and 2 minutes to get to the Acropolis Museum. The flat is well suited for 3 people, but no more. The main bedroom and the bathroom are well presented, the kitchen is OK, but a little nice touch could be added to the living room (e.g. a more comfortable bed could be added to replace the existing one). On the pros is the fact that the flat is secured by additional windows in both the living-room and the bedroom. However, upon our arrival, we found a kitchen that had not been cleaned before (likely the mistake of the previous guests, but still), opening the window in the bathroom is at your risk (there is so much moisture on just the outside of the window that it smells very bad in the whole room in less than 15 minutes), and the washing machine is not self-explained (some instructions written on the machine would have been useful). It would have been nice also to receive some advices on places to eat, where is the closest supermarket... Overall, this is a good flat, but it could be improved with not so much effort.
Owner's Response: Thank you for the review: I am sorry I did not have the chance to meet the tenants since I was away in London. Obviously my assistant assured me (wrongly) that everything was ok. As far as the Washing/Drying machine, the instructions are explained, in various languages, in the manufacturer's booklet, left at the apartment.
I will take into consideration all your comments.
