The pictures really do look great, but seeing this place in person is even better, wow! I knew I picked the right place when I saw the smile on my guest faces as we opened the door and went from room to room exploring the house. This house is big, lots of games board games for the kids, pool, foos and darts for the adults, a huge backyard, and a projector movie screen with satellite with what seemed to be an endless amount of channels. The master bedroom is amazingly big, with jucuzzi tub. Desi was always in constant contact with questions and communications every step of the way, I'm going back for sure!

What an amazing home!!! This is the perfect location and set up for one family or several families. The GAME ROOM is the best. We are already looking for dates to return to this home.

Great place to take your family or friends for the weekend. Not far from downtown Flagstaff. Its right on the 180, so sometimes you can hear traffic, but its real quiet at nighttime. The game room is perfect for hanging out, and the house is pretty big. 3 beds upstairs and 1 downstairs, no garage access. The master bed and bath are awesome. You would pay the same amount per night in a hotel just for the master suite in some cases. The kitchen is large and easy to work in for many people. The backyard has a small dog pen, but no pets are allowed. Plenty of grass to play around on in the back. Perfect for any 8 person group, although one bed is a full. I'll likely be back!

Our family... kids and grandkids… spent the long weekend after July 4th at this home and had a great time. The house is beautiful and the weather was typical cool Flagstaff weather in the "heat of the summer" for Phoenix.

The location, just a few miles north of Flagstaff was easily accessible just off Hwy 180, but the lot and tree coverage made it feel secluded. We were 5 minutes for the Snow Bowl lift area and took the lift up the mountain for some beautiful views.

We would rent again there in a heartbeat.... just a great getaway in the mountains!

We stayed June 7th-17th 2012 at this beautiful home. It was actually built by the owner, Desi and his family, and is archived in a photo album at the house. You can see the care that went into the construction and is reflected in the comfort. There were five adults, my wife and I, my daughter and boyfriend and NAU son. They house was so big, there were a couple rooms we never went into...LOL. We BBQ'd every night on the grill and relaxed on the deck. The stars at night were also amazing and a great view of the Milky Way. We did all the touresty things such as the Grand Canyon, Sedona, etc., but also enjoyed just sitting in the game room watching a movie on the drop down movie screen! Desi was always quick to respond to email questions and concerns and made for a wonderful stay!!

My family had the BEST time staying at this house and using it as our "homebase" for Northern AZ adventures for 5 days! My husband and I have two children ages 10 and 8 and my mother joined us as well- and for two evenings other friends stayed with us. IT WAS PERFECT! The GAME ROOM was the biggest hit for my kids, the well-stocked (with supplies/pots/pans/utensils) kitchen was perfect for me and my mom which made meals and preparing for day trips easy. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom were a bonus for anyone who doesn't want to deal with stairs. All beds and rooms were VERY comfortable and the house has so much room for everything. Thanks to the owners for making this an easy and wonderful experience! We visted in summer, but this would also be a great location for skiers because of its proximity to Snowbowl.

We had the most beautiful Christmas ! It was a perfect atmosphere for 4 families and their kids. The interior is so warm and cozy. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary supplies. All you have to bring in is the toothbrush as somebody else mentioned in one of the reviews. We had a great time and the forest around us made us feel the magic allure of the holiday . Thank Desi & Lori for your wonderful house that will remain in our memories for a long time!

This was the perfect home for our family of six, including 4 children ages 10, 11, 13, and 14. Everything was clean and neat upon our arrival, and enough bedrooms and separate living areas so everyone could have their own "space". This home served as the perfect "home base" to come back to every evening after a long day of sightseeing. The biggest hit of all was the game room, which has a full size pool table, foosball game, dart board, and everyone's favorite: The 8 foot projection screen. We couldn't wait to rent movies here, it made you feel like you were right at the theater! Having the washer and dryer available, as well as the grill for evening cookouts provided all of the comforts of home. We would highly recommend this property vacation home to anyone visiting Flagstaff, Williams, Sedona (an absolute must see!), or the Grand Canyon. We also spent a day at the "Out of Africa" wild animal park where we got kissed by a giraffe and a camel, as well as treated to a pool show where a white tiger and brown bear were diving, swimming, and playing with their trainers. After spending a few days in Vegas before making the 4 hour drive to this Flagstaff home, it truly seemed like a "retreat" where the air is clean and the temps much cooler than the 103 in Vegas. The owners were easy to communicate with and always responded quickly to our questions. Horesback riding was also available in Flagstaff, and the owners and previous guests had left maps and brochures of the many adventures / tours available in the area. The Lowell Observatory was also right in Flagstaff. Only drawback ~ no wireless internet available on site (bring your own broadband connection or hit the local coffee shop for access).
