The house and accomodations were just as described. The sunsets are not to be missed. We enjoyed ourselves very much even though the weather didn't cooperate the whole time. The owners recommended some local places to eat. We were very pleased with the 3 places we tried. We wish we could of stayed longer and hope to return soon. Checkout couldn't be simpler. Start dishwasher and take trash to dumpster up the street. We have stayed at other places that had 2 pages of checkout procedures. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

We spent a long weekend in this home and loved every minute of it! This house is right on the lake with beautiful views. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Near lots of great retaurants and so many things to do. My family rented a pontoon boat and spent a day on the lake--so much fun! We were already talking of a return trip before we had even left.

My family and I stayed at this property during our spring break. The house and views were breath-taking. We enjoyed the pool, the lake, and were amazed at the seclusion of the rental, plus the convenience to the Veteren's Memorial State Park and all it has to offer. Although the house only has 3 bedrooms, it is much larger than we expected. It is a perfect rental for more than one family or for a group. The house is set up in a way that one can be with a group and still maintain one's own privacy. Loved it and will definitely go back. Loved the weather in the spring and think I will come back with a group of fellow teacher’s during our fall break.Well worth the rental price.

Our family enjoyed a great week at this lake home in March. It is everything it appears to be in this listing! We have come to the Cordele area to ride bicycles each spring for many years. This was by far the best place we've stayed.

The home was clean and ready for us upon arrival. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes/pots/pans, etc.. There were many areas for us to split up and enjoy different activities. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds were quite comfortable. Lots of room for adults only or families. We appreciated having the bathroom paper goods and linens provided...even the laundry soap was there! The pool was very cold the week we were there but would be great during the summer months. My children enjoyed a few swims anyway! The view of the lake is spectacular and there is a great dock for sun-bathing or fishing. The screen porch provided a "play-pen" for my younger children on which they could play and blow bubbles. They were able to be outside but were contained!

We rode bicycles each day of our vacation and were able to ride out and back right from the house. There are great routes in the country if you are interested in riding. You can also enjoy riding the road the house is on if you want a short family ride. My kids also enjoyed the basketball goal!

We would highly recommend this property and we look forward to returning next spring.

I would HIGHLY recommend this vacation home. Beautiful house, BEAUTIFUL view, beautiful lake. You will not be disappointed. My husband I will definitely rent this home again. It was the perfect get away and met all expectations for us!
