Our family of six had a wonderful time on our vacation! The property was exactly as described in the listing. It was very clean; the pictures depicted the property accurately. The layout of the house was fine--we actually pushed the two twins together to make a King bed in one of the upstair bedrooms. The two queen bedrooms are downstairs and upstairs there are two bedrooms--one with two twins and one with a trundle-daybed. The stairs leading upstairs (to the living area and kitchen) are a little steep and we were so pleased to find a baby-gate in the utility closet!
We loved the beach--it was so nice to avoid crowds with the little ones in tow! The neighborhood was so safe and quiet and the busier Seaside and/or Rosemary Beach areas were just a short drive away. We enjoyed the concert and dinner at Seaside on Wed. evening.
If you are a bike rider, bikes are rentable from area vendors. The house comes with one adult and one child bike. We borrowed a bike from a "neighbor" one day and my daughter and I biked into Rosemary for lunch and a little shopping. Fun!
I would suggest avoiding the grocery store on Sunday--maybe bring enough food for a day or two. Because most of the rentals turnover on Saturday, the grocery store was crazy busy and took a really long time to do just a couple of days worth of shopping. Next time. we'll prepare a little better and plan on grocery shopping on Monday morning!
I would definitely recommend this property! We are hoping to return next summer ourselves!

This was my second time staying at this beach house on Pelican Circle. Both times upon my arrival the house was clean and well accomodated with everything we needed. Loved that we were able to do laundry so we would have clean beach towels. Love to be able to have the option to go to the pool over the beach. Short walk to the beach and since it is a private beach, not crowded. I was glad that I could bring my dog. The layout of the house is wonderful for a large group. The second time I stayed there were 4 couples and 2 children and I did not feel like it was crowded. Plenty of room upstairs for lounging and enjoying our meals. I will definitely be coming back.

We were a house of eight adults and two teenagers and it was roomy enough for us all. We spent a week of fun in this beautiful home. Upon arrival we went to Publix (just around the corner) and had food for the entire week in the refrigerator. We were able to enjoy meals (breakfast/lunch/dinner) cooked by one or the other throughout the week as the kitchen is complete with cookware, utensils, plates, bowls, cutting boards, mugs, glasses, etc. We grilled out by the pool one evening and watched the sunset on the beach another evening.

The screened porch made for perfect game nights as well as casual mornings with a cup of coffee while listening to the ocean.

All rooms were clean and as beautiful/comfortable as they appear in the photographs. The bathrooms were supplied with plenty of towels for everyone in the house.

Though it was the week of the Memorial Holiday, the private beach had very few people which gave us privacy and room to spread out to enjoy the sun. It was nice to be so close to the beach that we could walk back to the house to make a snack or refill our water jugs.

On a couple of occasions we decided to eat out & shop. We were close enough to Destin as well as Panama City to enjoy a wide variety of options...might I suggest The Old Fish House Restaurant in Destin? It was delicious!!

Thank you for a week of relaxation. We look forward to returning next year!!!

My husband and I were invited for the first time to go with our very close and dear friends. They usually go every year and stay at this house. Since we were the new couple, we got the room with the daybed. Which really, we did not mind....we just wanted to be at the beach and would probably sleep out on the lounge chairs by the pool if needed. lol So we brought our air mattress to sleep on. To our surprise, we didn't need it. The daybed had two beds, one twin under the top twin and my husband figured out how to bring the frame up on the bottom bed to meed the top bed which made a huge king size bed. Some of you are probably shaking your head right now saying, these guys are idiots, all daybeds can be made into the king size. :) Well it was a surprise to everyone and now we get the big bed everytime we are invited (if we get invited). I made sure to call dibs on the bedroom! lol So if you stay here, make sure you bring king size sheets and say, "We will take the bedroom with the daybed"! Your friends will be jealous! :) This place has everything you need to make you have a very relaxing time. My husband and I are hoping to go again next year!

Wow. What a great place to stay. This place has lots of room and is very clean. We had a lot of fun in the pool that is totally private. This is not my first stay here, nor hopefully the last. Definately coming back to such a beautiful house and the beach and the water were superb.

Our family loved the experience. The 7 of us (all adults) were pleased with the accommodations. The home was very clean and looked exactly like the photos. The layout of the home with two bedrooms up and two bedrooms down worked well. My husband enjoyed relaxing by the private pool while the rest of us made the very short walk to the beach access for the subdivision. The open layout of the kitchen and large family room with screened porch made our meals enjoyable. The owner was very easy to work with. I would recommend this home as a vacation home to any and all of my friends. The white sand and blue water were breathtaking and since this was a private part of the beach it was not crowded. In all this week exceeded my family and my expectations.

Stayed for spring break. Second time on Pelican Circle near Deer Lake. Quiet and pristine section of the beach. VERY short walk to beach from the house. Beach side of Rte 30A. Near zero cars. 7 of us stayed -- including grandma. Nice layout for family. Plenty of space for lounging around, alone time or family gatherings. This is a quiet section of Rt 30A. Quick access to Hwy 98, Seagrove, Seaside and Rosemary -- without the daily crowds. On a few days, Dolphins were swimming within 50 yards of shore in groups of 10-15. My daughter took the photo of the vaacation when the dolphins started leaping from the water putting on a "show" for the few lucky families on the beach.
