This fabulous, completely renovated 3000+ Sq. Ft. home is located just minutes from Friedman Airport. Just 15 minutes south of Bald Mountain and the ski lifts, this beautiful home sits up on knoll surrounded by aspen trees, offering views of the Silver Creek to the South and the Pioneer Mountains to the North. We are situated at the beginning of two trail systems (Toe of the Mountain and Quigley Trail) that continue for miles into the backcountry.

These trails are available for all terrain sports, motorcycles, bikes, hiking and snow cross-country. The back gate of the property opens up to a several acre green belt area for all kinds of fun. An outdoor fire-pit nestled in a grove of aspen trees is available for toasting marshmallows. Two large decks, and a large jacuzzi off the master suite deck await you in the back yard.

As you enter this light and bright residence, a large, comfy living room and an open floor plan awaits. The fully equipped kitchen is next to a lovely dining room that can seat ten. Windows are everywhere, with pretty views in every direction. Down a small hallway off the main living area is a lovely guest bathroom, with a granite countertop, radiant heated limestone floor, and a full bath and shower.

A bedroom, which is set up as an office and has a full size sofa bed in it, is at the end of the hall. It's a handy room for extra guests should you need it. The master suite is also on this floor, which has a walk in closet and as mentioned before, beautiful views and a sliding door to the deck and jacuzzi. A master bath with radiant heated floors is also in the suite.

The downstairs is as large as the upstairs. A large 52” LCD TV is located in the large media area and a 7 ft pool table are part of the recreational fun. Two additional bedrooms are located downstairs, with a bathroom located in the hallway between the bedrooms. This bathroom has radiant heated floors as well. Inflatable mattresses are available for your convenience, for extra guests. Off the media room there is a daybed and trundle for additional sleeping arrangements.

A large, separate laundry room downstairs provides a full-sized washer and dryer, with tons of counter space, cabinets, and a second fridge and microwave. Great for the kids for popcorn making at movie time!

The spacious two-car garage is attached and has a separate wet entry to the home. A Honda Element automobile resides in the garage. A bike rack is in the garage should you need it. New bikes are in the garage if you are interested in using them.

Situated within a few blocks of the river for great fly fishing, the bike trails for great biking, and all that the immediate area has to offer in respect to great restaurants and entertainment, this ideal holiday retreat can be yours!

Hailey is a wonderful place to relax and get away from the crazy lives we all lead. It is not as commercial as many other high profile ski resorts yet it has all of the wonderful amenities associated with a high end resort area. Leave the designer bags at home and bring the basics. Our family loves the amazing outdoor life this area has to offer. In the summer, one has miles of river to explore and fish, several mountain ranges to hike, and 28 miles of hiking and biking trails. Golf, and great boating activities at the various lakes in the area offer extra fun. The restaurants are first class, and the community is so friendly. Hard to walk anywhere without people always offering a pleasant greeting. The summer has endless outdoor concerts, the famed Sun Valley Symphony series in the new Sun Valley outdoor pavilion, and many arts and crafts fairs to enjoy. There are lots of kids programs in the area so that keeps all members of the family happy! Great yoga programs, theater, and shopping fill the days. Wintertime is a wonderland. Whether you enjoy cross country or the two downhill ski resorts, one of which is geared towards kids with its own terrain park, the winter action is super fun. Any time of year is great...we just love it!

Excellent property in a wonderful location for a ski vacation

This property wonderful. The location was excellent to ski in Sun Valley. The location is in a nice neighborhood and provides all the comforts of home. We will definitely stay here again. Ron was easy to work with and provided all the information needed. I knew if there was a problem all I had to do was call. The backyard faces a wonderful mountain. It was a pleasure to look out or sit in the jacuzzi and look at the view. The house is large and spacious. I never rented a home from VRBO. I would use this agency again. The only recommendation I can make is to have more pictures of the home. The current pictures do not do justice to the wonderful amenities. Spring Skiing in Sun Valley was fantastic. Everyone from workers to visitors were pleasant. The food at the ski lodges was a great surprise. You can have a gourmet meal then ski the mountains. The town where this property resides is a charming town. There are plenty of activities and restaurants. There is a grocery store not far, so it is easy to get supplies and food.

Wonderful stay at a great home

We really enjoyed our time in Hailey. The home was very comfortable, and well-stocked with gourmet cooking accessories. It is a great place to stay with kids and it is a home where set up for a lot of indoor fun after a day being in the out of doors. We will definitely look to stay again.

I enjoyed my visit at the Nelson home. The home is immaculate & extremely well maintained. It is very lovely too. It has all the amenities that you could possibly ask for. The location is very desirable. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone who would like to visit Hailey Sun Valley, Idaho. You won't be sorry!!! I'm going back to the home next year.......

Enjoyable for Four Generations

We had a wonderful time at the house in Hailey. It was the perfect place for the entire family to meet, all four generations of us. The house was very beautiful and easy for my 86 year old grandmother to get around in. It had a great backyard for the children to play in. We loved roasting marshmallows and playing bocce ball. The house was an easy bike ride to downtown Hailey. We are already under orders from grandma to book the house again for a week next year!

Of the many VRBO houses we have rented over the years, this was one of our favorites. It is beautifully laid out with a pretty back yard in a quiet residental neighborhood and is very convenient to downtown Hailey, only 12 miles to Sun Valley. Ron could not have been more accomodating. We used his bikes every day. A great place to vacation in summer or winter! Hiking was great and I know skiing is outstanding from past experience. Our highest recommendation.
