Thank you very much for a wonderful time we had at your beautiful villa.
Nena was amazing, my wife spend a lot of time in the kitchen watching her cook and writing down new recipes. Anna sends the best regards to Nena, we miss her a lot. Kids had a lot of fun in the pool and jacuzzi. Beach is just 15 minutes walk from villa.
Hector (driver) was very good and very helpful especially when we went to the city's fish market and supermarket. We hope to come back soon.

very nice accomodations

First off, the house & grounds are beautiful. We had 6 people and the layout allowed for plenty of privacy if needed. Nene was a wonderful cook and she kept the house clean, despite our best efforts. Videl, is more or less a grounds keeper, not so much a butler, but his gardening does seem to keep him busy most of the day. That said, Videl was more than accommodating when asked to do specific tasks. You should know this..... Nene & Vidal speak Spanish, they have some English, but communicating is difficult if no one speaks the local language.
Now for the few negatives,
-the hot-tub was not functional, the pump was broken
-some of the ac units were not working properly... the pineapple room had no AC at all (there are ample ceiling fans throughout the house)
-the fridge was NOT stocked, although we did pay the fee
The few negatives were outweighed by the positives, & overall, the house was a great place to vacation. I would go back, in fact, we are planning another holiday for next year, hopefully, the few items listed above will be addressed...
Now for the few negatives,

Owner's Response: The Jacuzzi got broken and the pump needed to be imported from the USA, so we were without Jacuzzi for 2 weeks.
We have had an issue with an A/C in ONE room and it got fixed a few days later, the remote control deprogrammed itself, but the fan worked.
All the windows have mosquito screens so with the fan it is possible to cool the room at night, the ceiling are 16' high!
The fridge is always stocked for US$100 : enough to get you going for breakfast, lunch on arrival, drinks, fruit, etc.
This fee includes the fill up of the gas tank of the Golf card which costs US$ 35.
Food in as expensive in the US as in the DR with the exception of fruit and veg.
We have an engineer and Vidal ,the gardener to address any issue with prompt action.

I meant to write to you to thank you for everything as it worked out great for us. Your house was great and maid was very nice and her cooking so delicious. We stayed out by the pool each evening enjoying the pool and wine. Golf was amazing at Teeth of the Dog. Ride from/to airport went flawless.
If we do go back, we will certainly look you up again.
Again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to make it back sometime soon.

This is a wonderful villa, beautiful garden with the extra bonus of great cooking by Nena. Rooms are plentiful, independent and very quiet. The pool area is ideal for a large family reunion or just for a couple to have a chilled local beer.
Recommended for:
Families with Teenagers,
Romantic Getaway

Perfect villa

We spent two weeks in this villa with our children last spring. The house is very comfortable but the unique part was the service provided by the owner and the staff. All of them care about your experience and treat you in a very pro-active and professional manner which is very different from most rentals. It really has an all-inclusive feel to it and it was exactly the holiday we were looking for. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful vacation at Casa de Campo. Your villa is beautiful and we especially love the staff! We speak about as much Spanish as the staff speak English, but even so, we "communicated" with ease because they are each so attentive. Each meal was a delight, with everything prepared with tremendous skill and care. The villa was always neat and clean, and the staff made us feel welcome and at home each day. They are a treasure. Staff kept the pool and the grounds looking perfect, and his cheerful smile was always welcoming. The villa has the most wonderful furnishings and decorations - very professionally done, while also being exceptionally comfortable. We love CdC. There is always something to do, and you can also do nothing if you wish. We went horseback riding each morning, followed by the pool and then the beach, with a little tennis mixed in.
