Our stay here was fantastic! I have never stayed in a unit to close to the surf...only 20 feet of beach separates the patio with the water! The sound of the waves crashing is very relaxing! If you are looking for a nice relaxing place to stay, then this is the unit for you. I would have to admit that this unit is one of the best positioned units on the property. Not only are you the closest to the water, most of the day tourists that come to Sapphire Beach are on the complete opposite end of the compound so you don't see much of them. There are no volleyball courts between you and the water as there are in other units. Great views of St. John, Tortola in the distance and many other little isles. You can snorkel right in front of the unit. I am going to recommend this unit to family and friends. The unit is as described. Thanks for sharing your little piece of Paradise with us!

PARADISE! THE BEST PLACE TO STAY IN ST. THOMAS!

"E106 - December 12-17th 2012 - Nathan, your condo is without doubt one of the best picks I have made on HomeAway! I wouldn't want to stay in any other unit, to literally take 10 steps and have your feet in the crystal blue waters, was amazing and true paradise.. I was snorkeling every morning before breakfast, which of course was served overlooking the beach and all the little islands! The beach is so pristine and beautiful it really is a paradise with all the amenities that anyone could ever need. The location is the best on the island... Seriously, I had to force myself to leave... Thank you so much.. I'll BE BACK!

Very nice condo

Condo was exactly as described. All the amenities are there. If you are looking for a place to relax and just get away this is it. It is not the Ritz Carleton and we didn't expect it to be. Has very nice pool area and even though the pool cabana is currently closed no problem. The Red Hook area is more laid back than the other side of the island. Ferry to St. John takes 10 minutes. Snorkeling is 10 steps from the back deck area and very good. If you take a snorkeling tour would recommend Simplicity sailing tour-great value. Owner called to check up on us and communicated very well through the whole process. We will go back and stay here thoroughly enjoyed our time. Thanks again.

Paradise

We arrived on Thursday September 6, 2012, checked in at reception and went to the room. We had 4 adults staying at the condo and there was plenty of room and we could get privacy when wanted with the sliding doors. The condo would also be perfect for a family with small children, as the couch pulls out into a very comfortable bed and the sliding walls can give privacy when needed or the parents will be able to keep an eye on their children. The beach is very safe and secure, many times we went out on to the beach and did not worry about leaving the room open. The condo is very clean and kept up well. The owner was very helpful and i was able to email or call him at anytime to ask questions not only about his place but St Thomas in general. I have recommeneded this place to at least three people so far.

We had a great time on St. Thomas and enjoyed our accommodations. Access to the water was literally steps away. Resort staff was pretty friendly but the common areas could use some repair. I would definately stay at Sapphire Beach again. Thanks!

Condo that has all you need and awesome views!

My husband I stayed here for a week to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and we could not have asked for a better place to spend it. The location was perfect for us, and Sapphire Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on St Thomas. The unit is all updated with a great walk in shower and tidy kitchen area. The outside porch was our main dining room and nights were so romantic seeing the lights of St John twinkling in the distance. The property had excellent security and the security staff was always friendly and made sure that everyone on the property was supposed to be there. The owner was quick to respond to my questions and was very helpful and even called to see if we were having a good time. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for an awesome bargain, fantastic views and a beautiful beach just steps away!!!

Great week at Sapphire

My husband and I rented this condo and returned late last week.
The view from our 1st floor patio was beautiful, it was literally one step down to the beach and 10 steps away from the water. This unit is located near the marina on the 'quiet side' of the beach - away from where all the cruise ship passengers are dropped off - so it was really nice, not having to worry about the crowds, but if you wanted the excitement - it was a short walk down the beach. The pool was also very close and usually we had it to ourselves!
The condo owner was great to work with and answered all my questions quickly.
Don't hesitate to rent this unit - you will be satisfied!
We hope to return again soon!

I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity to stay at your lovely condo.We really did have a wonderful time and your place was very up to date and clean.It was so nice to be able to walk just a few steps out your patio door and be walking in the ocean.Staying in E building is a plus and very private which was a great way to spend the mornings and evenings.The view is spectacular and hard to explain and pictures do not do it justice.The snorkeling was unreal.

Jim and I are back in Colorodo after a wonderful 2 weeks in St Thomas. We enjoyed the condo and just relaxing on the beach and at the pools. I think you will find the condo in good shape for your trip. The only negative was the winds failed us for a few days and the no-see-ums had a field day. Hope the winds are back for your visit.
