Vacation like a Hollywood starlet! Great nearby shopping and food. The pool is warm and the jacuzzis are large and about 4 ft deep (over 1.2 m). Even the TSA agents are friendly :) If only all vacations could be this easy!

Two friends and I spent a wonderful week at the Ocotillo Condo in Palm Springs. It was everything we expected and more, exactly like the photos. The location is great, close to shopping. etc.
The condo is tastefully decorated and provides absolutely everything needed for the comfort of its guests. The well equiped kitchen even had many basic staple items.
The condo and entire complex was clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the wonderful flower beds and pool.
There is a very friendly, helpful property manager just a phone call away if you need anything or have questions.
There are many restaurants to choose from and we didn't have enough time to try them all so are looking forward to returning. There is something for everyone in Palm Springs and you definitely do not have to be a golfer to have a good time. I would have to say the "Follies" was the high light for me but we also enjoyed a tram ride up the mountain and a walking canyon tour. The shopping was fantastic and we really did "shop till we dropped".
I would and have recommended booking a trip to the Ocotillo Condo in Palm Springs. I will definitely do it again as it was one of the best holidays I've ever taken and very affordable.

We found the suite to be immaculately clean and very well (and tastefully) appointed. It's on the street side but very well insulated and there's not a lot of traffic - street noise was not a problem at all. The suite has been renovated and is very comfortable. All necessary dishware and kitchen utensils are available. We ate all our breakfasts there as well as several other meals. Go to Ralph's down the street for your groceries - sign up for the discount card - it's great.
Internet broadband is available and, if you don't have your own laptop, there's an older but perfectly serviceable one in the suite.
The Lodge itself is well laid out, and very laid back and relaxed. The pool is enormous, with lots of poolside chairs, etc, and lots of palm trees for shade, plus a couple of whirlpools for that extra relaxation.
Palm Springs is very easy to be in. The streets are wide, the traffic is slow, and the restaurants are many and varied, and all of excellent quality.
We loved our visit to Dave and Freddie's Ocotillo suite, and we're already planning a return visit with friends.
We recommend this property with no reservations.

This clean, tastefully decorated condo surpassed all our expectations. The Ocotillo Lodge with his champagne cork shaped swimming pool is reminiscent of the glamor days of Palm Springs and is in a great location. We will definitely return.

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your little Oasis in the desert. The condo is super clean and bright and the complex is secure, friendly and full of history. We had a wonderful time - we basically had the huge pool all to ourselves! The grounds are beautifully kept and the people we met were so kind and shared some fun interesting facts about the Rat Pack who used to frequent the property....did you know that the piano in the common area is the same piano that Frank Sinatra played at years ago?! We loved how the condo is close to everything. There is a grocery store just down the street and a great TJMax for bargains better then the OutLet Mall! Every morning we walked to the corner for coffee and enjoyed chatting with the friendly locals and visitors. We also loved how close to downtown the condo is! Thank you again - your property manager is lovely and we can't wait to book again!

My husband and I were happy to discover this cheery oasis at Octotillo Lodge near the downtown area of sunny Palm Springs. The Ocotillo became our home-away-from-home for a week in May 2010. We loved the privacy of our well-appointed one-bedroom unit. It had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation and, although restaurants are plentiful and nearby, we particularly liked the chill factor of being able to shop for groceries at nearby Ralph's and Trader Joe's. The condo's kitchen is cook-friendly -- everything you need to prepare and serve a meal is at your disposal. We also appreciated the wifi access included in the price of the room. But of course, the pièce de résistance for this vacationer was the ginormous pool with its palatial pool deck. The condo comes equipped with beach towels, freeing up valuable space in your suitcase for your outlet centre purchases. One of the highlights was an evening walk downtown and free admission to the Palm Springs Art Museum (a cool building with excellent exhibits); followed by an outdoor barbeque at the Thursday-Night-Street-Market. We have recommended this property to our friends and family, and we're planning to make it an annual vacation destination.
