Photos and Description of the Bellaire / Shanty Creek vacation condo rental
1 bedroom, 1 bath, sleeps 4

This cute little condo sits on the Schuss course, just a quick walk out the door to the Schuss slopes and would be a perfect place for a getaway for 1 or 2 couples. You can walk to Ivans restaurant and be in the middle of everything happening during ski season. The cozy condo has a front room with a small but functional kitchen, a flat panel TV and a sofa sleeper. The private bedroom has a queen bed, TV and the doorwall opens onto a deck where you can sit with your coffee or a cold beverage.

I also have two others just like this - call for details and availability.

Spring, summer and fall at Shanty Creek: Shanty Creek resort offers 72 holes on four championship golf courses, each combining challenging play with Up North natural beauty.

The courses offer tight fairways, formidable doglegs, breathtaking hazards, and varying elevations, Shanty Creek’s golf courses put golfers in an enviable position—trying to read and play those challenging greens amid the stunning views. Golf Tom Weiskopf designed Cedar River Course, Arnold Palmers, The Legend, the Schuss Mountain course - a favorite among locals who annually name it one of the top public courses in Michigan and Shanty Creeks original course - the Summit.

The resorts 4500 acres also provides for outdoor activities, including Indoor/outdoor pools and hot tubs, restaurants and entertainment.

Outside the resort: Golf 4 wonderful courses, swim, boat, use the pools and hot tubs, sightsee - you'll run out of time before you run out of things to do. Please enjoy the resort restaurants and shopping, and visit the great places in Bellaire. There is a movie theatre, video store, grocery store (Glens), some cool shops (such as Sassy Sunflower), coffee shops (Moka) and restaurants. One of our favorites is Lulu’s – and don’t miss the Bellaire Bar next door. In the resort, try Lakeview – it really does have a fantastic view of Lake Bellaire, or Ivan’s over at Schuss Village. If you get a chance to go a little further, Dockside on Torch Lake is a fun place to eat with a great setting on the lake. A few more miles will get you to Alden (don’t miss Higgins for the best ice cream around), or Traverse City, Petoskey and Charlevoix.

Loved the condo and location

Made it back to Detroit safely and wanted to thank you for the great time we had in your place.

I'll try to get onto home away later on to write a favorable review. We really enjoyed the condo - the location was exactly what I was looking for. And as you know, we had some great sunny weather this weekend. It was so nice to open up the blinds in the front room and just relax on the couch and watch the action on the mountain. I may need to contact you again about the rental.

You should find everything very well intact in the condo. Our stay was minimally invasive.

Thanks - I'm sure I'll catch up with you again soon.

Great little condo

When I booked this condo, I did not have very high expectations. I was just looking for a little crash-pad for a ski weekend.

The condo turned out to be much nicer and much closer to the slopes than I was expecting. And it is just enough dintance from the hotel and pool to give you a sense of privacy and allow you to get away from the crowds.

I couldn't believe what a great view it has from the living room window looking up at the face of the mountain.

The mini kitchen was perfect for my needs. I wouldn't plan on cooking large meals or anything, but if you bring food, you could prepare just about anything that doesn't require baking in an oven.

This is a cozy and well-maintained gem and an excellent couples getaway.
