We are former educators who care about personal spaces for ourselves and family. We appreciate the variety of natural spaces and beauty of Naples, and seek others who may share this level of quality and comfort. David has been a former prof. and teacher, who since retirement has created a successful landscape design business. I am a former teacher who serves on a Board at Lincoln Center in NYC, and am President of Kids for World Health, a not-for-profit organization started by my students that provides education and healthcare for neglected diseases for children and families in Africa and around the world. I recently spent time in Uganda living in a village where KFWH opened their 4th pediatric clinic.
Lely Resort is a beautiful setting with lovely landscaping and the best in golf course design. We chose Naples for its classic and natural atmosphere, settled in a dip on the gulf, protecting it from most high winds and hurricanes. Its beaches are quite wide created by white sand with plenty of room to have privacy on calm, warm and soothing blue waters. The shopping is upscale quality,and the city is adorned with a cultural arts center, quality amateur theatre, excellent restaurants,and beautiful nature facilities. Naples is unique in beauty.
We enjoy the benefits of simply using the facilities surrounding our Condo or jaunting to the beach to enjoy the blue/green waters and white beaches. Kayaking is a part of our time there, in and out of the bayou with a superb guide at the local nature center. We enjoy the arts, and find Naples and the area close to our condo, having opportunities to view excellent work in galleries, to catch a theatre production in beautiful Sugden theatre, or to visit the cultural center for other special programs. The downtown area is fun to visit, shop, and to eat an amazing variety of finely prepared foods.What more can one want?
