This secluded three-bedroom house with central air conditioning is surrounded by several acres of private land and located on a sand road on the ocean side of Route 6. The house, originally built in 1752 in Connecticut, was dismantled and moved here in the 1970's. It was carefully reconstructed with contemporary amenities. The original 18th century features include a post and beam frame, central chimney, beautifully paneled walls and wide floor boards. New paint, stenciling on the walls, antique furnishings and a lovely yard creates a relaxing atmosphere for your next Outer Cape vacation.
The first floor has a large dining area with traditional fireplace, a modern kitchen, living room and one bedroom. There are two more bedrooms on the second floor (Sleeps 8).
There is a lovely 10 minute walk to Dyer or Long Pond. Both of which are in the National Park. Walking the other direction into Wellfleet Center is about a mile. It's only 2 miles to the Ocean or Bay beaches. A short 15-mile drive to Provincetown.
