3-bedroom condo for 2- 4-6 guests. Both are just minutes away from Half Moon Bay beach and Yal Ku Lagoon!

Come visit Akumal and stay in a charming, spacious and affordable condominium situated in the middle of the Riviera Maya; 60 miles south of Cancun airport and 20 miles north of Tulum. The location is quiet, serene, and cozy, yet very close to restaurants, shops, groceries, jungle, Mayan ruins, and an endless choice of cool cenotes and beautiful beaches!

You will find snorkeling and diving within easy access. Walk 2 minutes to the famous Yal Ku Lagoon and you can enjoy the calm, clear water that invites a myriad of fishes for your viewing pleasure. And 2-minutes to the beach at Half Moon Bay, protected by the Meso-American Reef, the second-longest barrier reef in the world. The bay is home to a vast variety of fish and sea life for snorkelers to discover. Three dive centers in Akumal offer PADI-certified instructors to take you on thrilling reef or cavern dives.

Dive instructor, property manager, living in Akumal since 1985. I enjoy diving ocean and cenotes. Akumal is the heart of Riviera Maya and the perfect place for diving both and the atmosphere is quiet and laid back.

Clean and comfortable and the owner was were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this property and Akumal. Be sure to snorkel with turtles and visit some ruins!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Casa Quetzal. The property is very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located for enjoying Akumal. We were traveling without a car, and we were easily able to walk to several good snorkeling spots, to great restaurants, and to the taxi stops for other sightseeing. The managers are extremely friendly and helpful, and overall, this made a great home base for our first visit to Akumal...we recommend Casa Quetzal, and would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Casa Quetzal. We found Akumal and the Caribbean to be thoroughly enchanting and will definitely be returning on future visits. The location was great, central to the water as well as the village. I suppose it depends on who's sharing the space at any given time but we found the condo to be quiet and restful. Your pricing was extremely fair and reasonable for the convenience and comfort of the condo.

Casa Quetzal is a truly wonderful place to stay and visit the Yucatan from. A close distance to a beautiful lagoon as well as from the famous sea turtle snorkeling grounds. Easy walk to two different restaurants and corner store, this rental is in an ideal location to see and experience Akumal. My wife and I loved our vacation stay despite the hurricane thunderstorms. We felt safe and secure in Casa Quetzal; having a private staircase with a lock at the top made us sleep sound. High ceilings and a classic brick and adobe white walled look, we were surprised by the size and affordability of Casa Quetzal. The manager is efficient and willing to help with any concerns as well. I would give this rental an overall rating of 9 out of 10! Perfect for the romantic couple or a small sized family. Just ask for Mari Jo!
