Located at Coomeenole overlooking the Blasket Islands at the very tip of the Dingle Peninsula in West Kerry. This turn of the century stone house stands above the sea with a beautiful walking and swimming beach. Stunning views of the ocean and just a 15 minute drive to Dingle town. The historic Dingle Way walking trail is a well marked and nearby. Dingle offers excellent dining, shopping, farm markets, fishing and sailing. Many pubs have traditional music. There are prehistoric and early christian sites nearby.
It is a 3 1/2 hour drive from Shannon Airport and a 50 minute drive from Kerry Airport
There is train service between Dublin and Tralee, also from Faranfore, near Kerry regional airport.
Spectacular scenery and walking trails. There are an abundance of prehistoric sites dating from the 3rd century as well as many early Christian ruins.These sites are accessible to walkers and by car. Another notable feature are the clean, beautiful beaches all around the peninsula. The town of Dingle has music in an unusual variety of pubs as well as good local food! This is a traditionally Irish speaking region.
