Our Budget Friendly 2 Bedroom, Queen size beds, 2 full Bath house with screened in lanai (porch) can be rented as a 1 Bedroom, 1 full Bath for the low rate of $69/night or rent both bedrooms and both full bathrooms for $89 a night. When renting the one bedroom/full bath you will be in the house completely by yourself.
We are in a quiet residential neighborhood 15 minutes from the Hilo Airport. 5 min. to nearest Town with several restaurants, gas, large new Drug Store, Banking and Grocery Store.
Only 15-20 minutes from these amazing sites:
*12 mi. from Lava Viewing
*Botanical Gardens
*Free Zoo in a Rain Forest (10 min. away)
*Hot Springs (20 min. drive)
*Best Star Gazing in the World from Mauna Kea (2 hours drive)

We built our Hawaiian Getaway home in 2007, and enjoy sharing it and the amazing sites of the Big Island with our Guests. Close to Hilo Town yet in a quiet peaceful forest.
The area is 700 ft. above sea level, very cool at night for sleeping. The drive down the hill is lovely with the view of the Pacific Ocean in front of you. The birds love the Ohia Forest the house is in, their songs are wonderful background music for your entertainment. The location being so close to Volcano National Park allows a quick trip to the park at night to see the orange glow from the crater, so you don't get home so late.
The Big Island of Hawaii is like no other place on Earth. To be on a tropical island, surrounded by the gorgeous royal blue Pacific Ocean and have an active Volcano that continues to add more land to the island is truly awe inspiring. And top that off with a 14,000' mountain that has a snow-capped peak in winter...what else can you ask for....
Our Guests appreciate the Budget friendly accommodations and are pleasantly surprised with all the amenities. Having a manager nearby also puts their minds at ease in case they need assistance. The rental is in a residental area so very easy to find yet very private because of the Ohia Forest on both sides.

The cottage is very spacious, the kitchen was well stocked, and there was a lot of tourist info available right here.
Doug & Trish were very generous hosts, and helped us with information whenever needed.
