My husband and I stayed here September 2013. Location cannot be beat, however, the pictures shown above are not accurate. This very small cottage was cluttered with many useless items. No room on kitchen counters for our food, no storage in bedroom at all so we lived out of our suitcases all week, and pots and pans were gross as well. This cottage needs major streamlining...lose the dollar store trinkets!

Great Little Cottage

We stayed one week at cute little cottage and loved it! The price was reasonable for the amenities and It was clean and comfy and had a great little kitchen. The only downside was no a/c (only reason i gave it four stars vs five) which was tough with the hot and humid days we had at the start of our week; but with all the windows opened up to get a nice cross breeze and borrowing a fan it was fine the rest of the stay. We had 3 people in our party, our 13 year old son slept happily on the couch and enjoyed the TV at night. It was definitely a little cozy at times but we were out most of the days so it really was perfect for us. The location was great! Wallis Sands/Pirates Cove Beaches were right across the street and great for walks, boogie boarding, and sea glass hunting. Wallis Sands gets a bit crowded but if you walk past the rocks to Pirates Cove you can avoid the crowds. Lots of clam chowder to choose from - Petey's is the best! - and it is only a short ride up to Portsmouth and even Maine for shopping or sight seeing. The complex was quiet and the grass area was a nice place to sit and enjoy the breeze and a cup of coffee. The locals put on their own firework display on the Pirates Cove beach on the 4th and it was awesome!!! Despite it being a holiday week there were not any unmanageable crowds like other summer locations. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.
