Perfect getaway!

This was our first trip to the Moab area and this cabin was the perfect choice. It's about 20 minutes from town, up on a mountain, with only 1 other cabin next to it, and 2 other cabins in the clearing. Very private and peaceful. After long days of trail riding, this place was the perfect end to the day. Loved watching the sunset and sunrise, and the cooler temps were very refreshing. The kids had a great time playing in the meadow. During our stay we saw hummingbirds, lizards, and heard several turkey very close by.

Be warned -

1. There is NO cell service for us and no phones, so you won't be able to make any calls unless you drive the 20 minutes down the mountain.

2. There is no internet or data services.

3. The blue roof cabin does NOT have a gas grill as listed. It's a charcoal grill. This was a slight inconvenience for us, only because we did not bring charcoal and didn't want to drive back into town.

Besides the lack of charcoal, the cabin was extremely well stocked. We have stayed at several vrbo places, and this one was the best stocked.

We highly recommend this place and the Moab area, and will likely return next year!

We are two small families who were looking for a fun getaway in Moab w/ our boys who are 4 and 8. We were very happy w/ this rental, it was exactly as we expected. The cabin was very clean, well stocked, and provided us w/ the peace & freedom for the boys to run, ride their bikes, shoot water guns, etc.. The outside decks are perfect for relaxing, cooking and enjoying the views and quiet. The cabin is a bit of a long drive from Moab(around 25 minutes) it worked well to plan our outings, leaving only once for the whole day, stocking up on supplies in town and then returning for the evening. With the cabin being 3,000 feet above Moab the escape from the heat is wonderful! There is no A/C and honestly even w/ us being there at the hottest time of the year we found the cabin very comfortable without it. There is no dvd player which would have been helpful for movies for the kids, and I would suggest bringing a mirror for placement in one of the bedrooms since there is only one bath. The cabin is small, but totally workable for up to 6 I would say. Go ahead and book, you won't be sorry!

We spent the month of February at this peaceful, relaxing cabin. Yes, it is a twenty minute drive down to Moab from the La Sal mountain but so worth it. We had the best of both, the mountain to play in the snow and Moab and the National Parks to hike and explore.
We enjoyed our morning coffee on the front porch bundled up in a winter coat, and our evening wine on the upper deck. The view is amazing!!! The peace and quiet priceless, And the stars at night, OH MY! The pictures of the cabin are accurate, beds very comfortable for a good night sleep, kitchen equipped nicely for cooking,a nice comfy atmosphere. The owners live in the area and are quick to respond back to you.
We had so much fun hiking. Loved our hikes to see the arches, in and out of the National Parks. If you travel with a dog, Corona Arch is dog friendly, the National Parks do not allow dogs on the trails.Google Corona Arch and get the info, so worth the hike, we did it again a few days later!
Another highlight of our vacation was a Hummer ride, Sunset tour on Hells Revenge. Put that on your bucket list! What a cool experience, so happy we did it!
Once again, we had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. Highly recommend this cabin. :)

Going to Utah for the first time is definitely one of the best, last minute decisions we've ever made. We couldn't stop talking about how wonderful this place is. It's very much unlike where we are from - it's peaceful, quiet, with breathtakingly unique landscapes. The cabin is so homey and relaxing that we could sit on the porch all day and just admire the scenery! We're already planning on visiting again wiht the rest of our family, hopefully staying at these cabins again, too. Thank you for providing us with such comfortable, great lodging during our stay!

The cabin was invaded by our family from Colorado and Utah. We toured the beautiful La Sal mountains, enjoyed welcoming rain storms, lovely clouds hung on the mountain and coyotes called in the night. We met people from other countries and hiked to Delicate Arch. We four-wheeled the off-road trails in our FJ and stayed up late playing games. The cabin was a great retreat from the heat of the desert in July. We hope to visit again, because there is so much to see and do.

Thank you so much Cliff and Beth. Once again, our week here was the best and flew by too fast. We did a lot of exploring in the immediate area and discovered some great trails, beautiful lakes and awesome fall colors. We also loved returning in the afternoon to the tranquility of the cabin and relaxing with a glass of wine, BBQ and fire to end the day. The fabulous sunsets and the peace and quiet are very rejuvenating. Looking forward to our next visit back!

Truely a vacation spot to get away from the city - fabulous views, peace and quiet and terrific accomodations. Much better than the 5 star hotels I have stayed at - no noisy neighbors, unless you count the frogs and crickets - and we don't. Thanks so much.

The cabin is a dream come true. I even offered my mom my 23 dollars I've been saving to stay here longer.

Who knew we would find such a perfect cabin to spend time with family? We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by neighboring horses upon our arrival. The view and amenities were outstanding! After spending the day at Arches and Canyonlands, we took advantage of the grill and relaxing by the fire. We feel so lucky to have found this place and hope to make it back soon. Thanks and warm regards.
