Beautiful home near everything you need!!!
We were 8 people (incl 2 children) from Gatineau, QC, Canada & stayed at the villa from Dec 21st to Jan 7th & it was very nice. It was very pleasant & fast to deal with the owners and management. We really liked the Indian Creek neighbourhood, quiet, clean and safe. Also, we were at proximity of all the restaurants, medical clinic, markets, & of course Disney parks!!! The closest park is Animal Kingdom, but all of the others are about 10-15 mins drive & easy to get to. The house was clean, very functional & pleasant to stay in, although we did spend more time in parks than the house, but still, it was very nice. I actually want a house like that in Gatineau! Although we did not pay for heated pool, the kids went for a quick swim (water was quite cold due to the few cold days we had), next time, we will get the heat for the pool, it is a nice area to relax & enjoy the wheather. You really do feel like you're at home as there is everything you need (washer/dryer, towels, face cloth, etc) & there is a binder that tells you everything about the days of garbage pick-ups, nearby restaurants, etc. Plus you have wireless internet! We ate out a few times, but really liked the Black Angus restaurant and went to the Buffalo Wings restaurant on Formosa Garden, which was nice as you could watch sports there & went to Wal-Mart many times, you can buy all kinds of souvenirs there that are less expensive than the Disney parks! We took a shuttle from Kissimmee to Bush Garden in Tampa Bay & spent one day there, which the kids really enjoyed (stayed in the Sesame Street section the whole day)! We went 3 days to Universal Studios (you MUST do the Harry Potter ride, the best of all - go in single rider lane - way faster), 1 day at Seaworld (also a Must.so beautiful & the shows are amazing & get the all-day meal plan & fastlane pass, worth it), 8 days at Disney parks (2 days each park), also get fastpasses for the rides & shows you want to do/see as you will wait a long time if you go during Xmas time! If you have a little girl, you MUST do the whole Princess makeover at Bibbiddi Bobbiddi Boutique & have dinner at either the castle (Magic Kingdom) or Norwegien restaurant (Epcot)...it costs a lot ($230 USD for whole makeover), but it is priceless! Plan ahead, make reservations ahead & enjoy!!! I am definitely recommending the house to everyone & will for sure go back. Thank you Jeanne and Tom for renting your home & for the nice card, much appreciated! Stephanie
