Facing due south and looking down toward Frenchman's Bay and east to Charlotte Amalie (downtown St. Thomas), Villa Marbella Luxury Suites offers a truly unique combination of luxurious escape and the convenience of proximity to the beaches, shopping and dining offerings of St. Thomas. Situated on almost an acre of lushly landscaped mountainside, Villa Marbella offers unbeatable Caribbean sunsets, an inviting pool, and most rooms offer separate living and sleeping areas.

Head east from the suites and you are minutes from the Red Hook commercial district ferry port (and access to St. John, Tortola, and other islands). Head west and after passing the Marriott Frenchman's Reef resort just down the road and you are minutes from Havensite Mall (the cruise ship port and its attending barrage of duty-free offerings), the upscale Yacht Haven Grande (mega-yacht marina and mall with glitzy shops and great harbor-side dining), and historic downtown Charlotte, where you can get the best duty-free prices on a $4 bottle of rum, a $25,000 Rolex, and everything in between.

The Mountainside Loft offers the ultimate in privacy with its own side entrance and outside porch. It also features beautiful water and mountain views, comfortable living room, kitchenette, which includes a microwave, refrigerator, toaster and stove top. It has 2 double sized beds in the loft with a day bed in the sitting area, sleeps 4. Bright and tropical! It also has an iPod docking station, flat-screen cable television, wireless internet, beach chairs, cooler, beach towels, umbrella, daily maid service and welcome suprise.

About The Owner

My name is Leah Latour. It has been a dream of mine for many years to move to the US Virgin Islands. I waited until my youngest son graduated from high school before making the big move. We have been coming to the Virgin Islands since 1986 and fell in love with it the day we arrived. It is so beautiful and has so many things to offer which I love telling other people about. We have a beautiful spot here and love sharing it with others.

Why The Owner chose Southside

We bought in Frenchman's Bay because it is so close to everything yet in a quiet neighborhood. So you can come back here after a long day and relax and not be bothered with large groups if you don't want to.

What makes this villa unique

We have one of the most spectacular views and we get to watch the cruise ships come in each morning and see them set sail for their next destination every afternoon. It really is a treat. We have a lot of privacy and have a private porch for additional relaxation. Along with relaxing in the pool.

We thought that everything was outstanding at this property. Gunnar and Leah were superb hosts, were very informative about the area and the accommodations were clean and well furnished. The private patio off of the living area had gorgeous views in all directions and the pool was crystal clear. It was very evident that these resident owners were very diligent about quality and extremely proud of their property. We would recommend this site to anyone visiting the USVI.

My husband and I stayed in the Mountain side unit. Absolutely great! Leah and Gunnar fun fun fun. Couldn't ask for more helpful host. The room was so clean and tidy. Very compliant with cooking meals and snacks.

Beautiful experience

Villa Marbella is the place to stay, we will be back next year. Very clean and comfortable without taking all your cash. Just to wake up and see that beautiful mountain view was breath taking. All the big beautiful cruise ships pulling into ports. And your own pool if you do not want to go to the beach. Just lay out and enjoy.The weather fantastic and the overall place was just a beautiful experience. We were there for 8 days which was doing Valentine's Day and both my husband and myself did not want to leave. We have been around the world traveling and this was very nice. Thank you so much to the owner for the warmth that we felt at Villa Marbella. It was a dream come true for husband and myself. Just go and see for yourself you will not be disappointed.
