We live in GA and planned this trip a year in advance to Yosemite. I spent lots of time talking with people, reading reviews etc. Now thats its over, I can say for sure we were VERY pleased staying here. The pictures and details are totally accurate and truthfull. Annie was always in touch and on top of things. I just had that good feeling well in advance. Nothing like spending the day touring in the mountains then relaxing at your own place to put a steak on the grill and have a beer while sitting on the porch or swing. All the amities one needs to stay in touch (if you want). TV, WIFI and phone. My Verizon phone worked fairly well there. I was roaming on another network but Verizon did not charge me. You will not pickup Data (3g or 4g) at the house but the WIFI works fine in the home. The place was very clean, extremely well stocked. My GPS showed the elevation to be 4270'

We stayed for just 3 nights at this rustic cabin inside the park. Please be sure to bring along your Garmin or GPS to find the place. I would not rely on an iphone/smarphone due to reception issues inside the park! It's in a remote but accessible area of the park. The cabin was great for 4 of us and would have been okay with one or two more folks likely. We're used to more than one bathroom but it was easily worked out.

The location in the park is terrific. It's about an hour to Tuolumne Meadows, Glacier Point or Wawona and slightly shorter to the Valley Floor - all WITH traffic. This is a very central location. The cabin had all amenities as promised including WIFI. We also enjoyed catching up on the olympic action with the satellite tv. I would recommend this cabin but locate the cabin in the day light. I would not want to find it for the first time in the dark!

We absolutely loved this house. It was comfortable, quiet, beautiful surroundings. Everything we needed was on hand, and in great working order. Would love to go back.

We take pride in reviewing this well appointed cabin. We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Yosemite and we could not have asked for a better place to satisfy the entire family.

Our 3.5 year old son immediately assumed the 2nd floor bedroom and had his private sleeping quarters and play area. (he also located a set of wooden blocks and a storage/crawl space that he loved too) The second bedroom, our 14 month daughter stayed in and slept in a pack and play made available by the owners. My wife and I stayed in the nice sized master bedroom and had plenty of room to organize the family clothes as well.

Since our children were stuck on Florida time zone our days began bright and early with a hearty breakfast to prepare for a long day. The kitchen has everything and more needed to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner. They even had a pizza stone we utilized. Upon our return from long sightseeing days we were able to relax on the swing outside and let our son be a boy and explore, dig and play with sticks as the meadow allows for a very safe atmosphere for kids activities. The privacy is unbelievable as well.

Communication with Annie was great and all our questions were answered before we got there and we did not have to make contact at all once there. This cabin location is key to sightseeing in Yosemite because at anytime if you need to return for anything it is not far from the valley and it is close to a gas station as well.

Having wireless internet connection was awesome as well as we were able to do more research on our trip and read about things we saw that day.

As Annie mentioned to us before our trip, "just bring your food." She couldn't be more correct as the house has everything you need. As for the review below with the cleaning policies, we respect the rules as we have rental property as well. It's really simple, just clean up after yourself and treat the cabin like your own and everyone is happy.

and so close to the valley floor. The home had everything you could possible need. Comfortably decorated with some very nice watercolor pictures on the walls. I would definitely stay here again!

We vacationed down in Squaw Valley outside Fresno and wanted to visit Yosemite since we probably won't be able to revisit CA for quite some time. The drive was so far that we decided to rent somewhere in the park so we could see the most with the time we had. Annie was super easy to deal with and helped make the rental part easy to take care of. The house if definitely IN the park off the beaten path. Annie mentioned that we would want to make sure we brought all the food we wanted with us and folks....she is NOT kidding....I caught the little grocery store in El Portal right as they were about to close, otherwise we would have gone hungry. Take a GPS unit with you, it will make finding the house much easier. I would strongly suggest getting to the house while the sun is still up, we got there way after dark and were a little freaked out by the drive due to not being able to see anything the headlights didn't illuminate. Was that a shallow ditch beside the road or 1000 ft drop?!? In the morning when we could see we realized we were truly in a beautiful location. I went for walks every morning as the family was getting up and ready for the day. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked. They have a new lcd tv and now have wireless internet (the password is taped to the top of the router.....sorry I missed that Annie! LOL) Yosemite was even more beautiful than any picture could ever capture but the best experience we had was driving the Tioga Pass (Hwy 120) all the way to Mono Lake. Absolutely UNREAL! At one point you will actually be driving at an elevation of 9,945 ft. I'm from FL so anything above 1,000 ft is high to me. We packed a picnic and ate at Tenaya Lake, they have picnic tables there. It was in the high 70s in the lower elevations but the kids got to play in snow that day shortly after our lunch. My only criticism was the wording of the rules for how to leave the house. I'm not sure if the owners realize it but they sound a little intimidating but then again I don't own rental property so they probably have encountered guest who have left a total mess. All in all I can give this place two thumbs up. It was clean, it was cozy, and to see the great outdoors all you had to do was walk outside the front or back door.
