No one is blowing smoke on these reviews. It was a great stay. Everything advertised is there. We really enjoyed the great views and wonderful breeze on the balcony. You can see the waves crashing on beach, the grandkids in pool, the golfers at Kiva Dunes and over to the bay. Good televsions mounted where they could be seen with a nice selction of channels. We watched the lightening dance over the gulf at night from the master bedroom through the balcony door. We cooked with nice pots and pans. The AC worked good and the place was CLEAN. A really relaxing place. The Seurity was good and checked everyone coming in. HD was nice enought to call us on the way down to let us know the cleaning was finished earl yand we were free to check in. Not a guaranteed perk but this is the kind of person you are dealing with. We hated to leave and will keep this place in mind next year.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this condo and at the Plantation resort. The condo was very well-appointed and the view from the balcony was as advertised, providing stunning views of the ocean all day and night. The condo was a very short walk to the beach and the boardwalk made it very easy for us to get to the beach every day, even with young children.

My 2-year-old really enjoyed the pools and the beach. The weather was fantastic, the people staying in the area were very friendly, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. H.D. Was very informative and helpful by letting us know what was expected before we arrived and was even thoughtful enough to call us to let us know that we could arrive early since the cleaning had already been completed. Thanks for helping us have a wonderful, relaxing week away with our family!

My only negative observation was that the resort allowed people to smoke in the pool area. I would think that this would be something that they should want to change soon in order to continue to be a family-friendly area. Even with this observation, this did not take away from our ability to enjoy our vacation, but it was just something that we noticed when trying to picnic and relax by the pool.

Again, we had a wonderful time and certainly would like to stay again in the future.

We loved this Condo and the atmosphere at Plantation Dunes! Everything we needed was in the condo from the wifi to the shrimp deveiner! The beach is literally minutes away - just walk out the door, down the boardwalk and there you are! My kids loved the choice of pools, the tennis courts, sand volleyball, putting green and washers & shuffle board! (The Security Shack checks out the balls, rackets, washers...) The Security here was great piece of mind, we let our kids do their own thing with much more ease than we would have without that Security Check In! With the kids occupied and playing we had more time to sit and relax after a long day at the beach, after grilling our dinner down by the pool of course!! There is also a great little bar and grill in the building for those times when you'd rather buy a sandwich, a pizza or a cool drink than cook up your own meal!
It was fantastic and we'll be back!

H.D. was great. Room was ready on time, if not earlier, and looked just like the pictures from this site. Usually not the case. Condo was very clean and had everything you needed to get by. Everyone was nice from gatehouse to everyday employees and pools were cleaned every morning and trash swept up at all times. We had a very enjoyable stay here for one full week thru 4th of July. Would come back again sooner than later. Thanks, H.D.. for a wonderful experience.

My family and I just returned from our stay at the Plantation relaxed and rejuvenated. The condo was beautifully furnished, comfortable for a family of four (two adults, two older teenagers) and had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. The condo was exactly as pictured. I particularly enjoyed the view of the pools and the ocean from the spacious balcony. The amenities at the Plantation were wonderful. The atmosphere was very family friendly, the staff was polite and accommodating and the grounds were beautifully maintained. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone and can't wait to return. H.D. was exceptionally easy to contact and talk to. I appreciated how timely any calls were returned and our security deposit was returned within a week.

We decided at the last minute to take a 24 year anniversay trip to the Gulf Coast in Alabama. Checking on the internet, We could not find anything, until Harold contacted us with one of his Condos that was available. He helped us in every way possible. When we got to the Condo it was very clean. It was on the top floor with a GREAT Balcony, Awesome view of the Gulf, Pools, Blue Sky durning and Stars at night. The Condo had Great Amenties, Nice Decro, King Size Bed, Full Kitchen, Large Living Area, Nice Tile Floors, only a short distance from the Beach. Plus an extra bed room and extra bath. A GREAT ROMATIC GETAWAY!!! We had Breastfast on the Balcony every morning to a cool breeze. then at night we could sit on the Balcony and listen to the Ocean or just leave our bedroom door open, which also connacted the Balcony, and hear the piece of the Ocean all night. Wow, what a relaxing time. There was also good security and everyone working in the whole Complex was very nice and helpful. The Landscape and Grounds were well maintained. Harold called and check with us, just to make sure if we needed anything. I plan on telling all my friends and relatives about this Condo and It's owner. The Best Seven Days Spent Away From Home, EVER! There was also a Work Out Room in the Complex, that We used durning this time. A Hot Tube outside, plus two hot tubes inside. A sauna, access to an indoor pool, also access to five outdoor pools. Oh my the White sand and Blue water, clean Beaches and clean water. Yet the Customer service from Harold helped top this Wonderful Vacation. Diffentily The Name says it all, Penthouse View. Thank You So Much, Harod from both of us, Lynn and Angela!!!

We just got back from a week at the Gulf Shores Plantation and what a week it was. Awesome weather, perfect location and wonderful condo. HD's condo was clean, had everything we needed and the view was spectacular. The pictures are very accurate. The pools were maintained daily, as were the grounds. The staff was friendly-always said hello. The location was just the right distance from the busier part of Gulf Shores. Very family friendly. We have teenagers and they loved it. So much to do. It would be great for families with younger children also. I would highly recommend using Cold Mil Fleet to anyone interested in doing a dolphin tour while in the area. Also, history buffs should visit Fort Morgan.

Beautiful condo amenities and location. Comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for 1 week vacation. Great beach view and sound of ocean. GS Plantation is great for the family during spring break--lots of activities. Pools are beautiful and clean. Went with 2 tweenagers and they loved the beach, tennis, swimming, shuffleboard. As parents, we felt it was a safe and secure resort. Definite family environment, good for younger and older adults, and families. H.D. was great to work with--quick responses and communicated timely updates and professional.
