3 queen size bedrooms, 1 queen size sofa, 2 full baths, laundry, sleeps 8

Top of the Pines is a lovely 3 bedroom (all queen-sized beds) 2 bath, duet. This mountain home has a large living room (the sofa converts to a queen-size bed) large wood-burning fireplace (wood is provided), dining room ,kitchen with large refrigerator, full sized dishwasher and disposal, laundry room (with washer& dryer) and 2 large covered decks overlooking an incredible view of the top of the pine trees, a forest and exquisite sunsets. All of the rooms have large windows and glass sliding doors with access to the decks. each deck has a table and chairs for relaxing while enjoying the vistas and the peace and quiet. This wonderful home is fully equipped including dishes.pots.pans. flatware.sheets, towels.napkins, soap products, paper towels, etc. All you need to bring is your food,drinks and personnel items.

Everything we needed and more!

We were a family of 5, three generations from ages 14 to 81. Entry level bedroom was great for the grandparents and we "youngsters" took to the lower floor. Wonderful to have meals and snacks as we wanted with the full kitchen. We found it well-stocked with all the dishes, utensils, pots and pans we needed. After a full day's wandering in the Yosemite Valley, it was nice to get "home" to Top of the Pines for dinner, story telling about the day, and board games. The night sky is amazing in the true darkness of the national park and we enjoyed looking from the driveway at a sea of stars! Many thanks to our hosts, Al and Carol, for all the information both before and while at the house. The notes regarding phone numbers for activities reservations in the park and how to work various things like heat and water were really helpful, too. I hope to be back and enjoy Top of the Pines in the future!

We thorughly enjoyed ourselves. It was really the perfect set-up with the in-laws with us. We had them stay in the upper level and they laved having access to the kitchen when they wanted to have coffee. Also, the temperature was great and the swampcooler workied nicely.
