Decided to go to San Francisco for my 40th birthday. Found Suzanne's place on here, of course. Was very satisfied with the whole experience. Suzanne was very helpful and sweet. Was surprised to find out she supplies breakfast and beverages for her guests. Something she does not have to do. You fix it yourself, but she supplies all that you need to do this. It was fun to be able to cook in our little room. She came and got our dirty dishes each day and washed them. Another thing she does not have to do, but very much appreciated. The room was clean and was pleasant to hang out after a long day of sightseeing. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Location was great for our needs. We had our own entry to our apartment, a plus!!! A nice little garden off our room to sit and enjoy. Suzanne was gracious enough to let me do some laundry. Very grateful for that. She pretty much left us to our own. Nice to have the privacy. But she was there if she was needed :) The only thing that was lacking was a t.v., but if you have a laptop, external hard drive loaded with movies and t.v. shows...problem solved. Also, be prepared for having to drive around to find parking. That is the "norm" in SF, lol. Thank you, Suzanne, for letting us stay in your home :) You were a great host! Would love to stay here again. Was a pleasure.

We stayed 4 Nights at Suzanne“s appartemente and it was very nice and so quiet and clean. We liked the charming house and patio. Suzanne and her son were so friendly and helpfull. All wishes where no problem. Breakfast with milk and orange juice and coffee. We drove with the BART to town in a few minutes.
Thank you Suzanne for all.

I just stayed this past weekend with my boyfriend at Suzanne's place and we really enjoyed ourselves. I came out for work but then wanted to stay an extra few days on my own dime -- this place was a really good value. The apartment is close to the heart of two really cute neighborhoods: Glen Park and Noe Valley. Both have lots of restaurants and shops. You can also walk to the Mission. Glen Park has a nice market (like a whole foods) and an independent bookstore where the owner brings in live jazz music. Also, the apartment is about a 10 or 15 minute walk to the BART station, which is convenient (you don't need a car if you are a good walker). I would also recommend hiking through Glen Canyon park -- the vistas are beautiful and the whole park smells of eucalyptus. Suzanne and her son are very sweet and attentive. The DIY breakfast set up is fun! I don't know what the other reviewer meant by the apartment smelling. We did not have that problem. The apartment is an English Basement apartment but it gets a lot of sun in the morning from the back garden. Yes, there is no TV but honestly who is sitting around their room anyway when you come to visit SF? I would definitely stay here again.

Accomadation was basic but adequate for our stay.It would have been better if there had been a tv .The one thing that was a bit off-putting was that we had to enter via the basement which had a very strong odour about it,but overall it was competitively price and well placed for transport

Owner's Response: We're not sure to what smell she's referring; we received no complaint from her during her stay. We always make an effort to correct unpleasant conditions. The basement entrance allows a private entrance to the apartment, which is on the lowest/ground floor.

It was a lovely holiday. The studio is quiet, romantic, clean and full of all services I needed. The position is optimal, in a residential neighbourhood, but close to all the facilities, public transportations, restaurants, shops and services.
The pleasantness of the owner was great so I'm thankful to have a charming memory of my stay in San Francisco.
I surely will recommend this accomodation to all people I know.
