We found the house to be circa 1970 and more like a rustic cabin. However, it was comfortable and functional. What makes this property is location, location, location. You could not ask for a better view. Mount Shasta looming on your left, Black Butte, the Eddy's, and Lake Shastina all lay before you in all their glory. If you are into views, then this is it! The owners are lovely as well.

Lake Shastina outstanding views

We had a great time at the Lake Shastina house, spent a lot of time on the extra large deck, with expansive views of lake and one of the best parnoramic views of Mt Shasta. Local wildlife passed right by including deer family and racoon. Location is quiet but up on the hill, good privacy and house is very well equipped with comfortable beds. We plan on visiting again.

Awesome Stay!

We arrived to a perfectly clean house in excellent condition. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The air conditioning was great. Very quiet and sparse neighborhood with lots of privacy. The large deck over looks beautiful Lake Shastina and has awesome views of Mt. Shasta as shown in the photos. The star gazing from the deck is fabulous! I highly recommend this house!

An incredible view with a great house to go with it!

We stayed at this house for two nights in July, and we really enjoyed it! The view is just incredible! The deck wraps around two sides of the house, and you have a 180 degree view of Mt. Shasta on one side and Lake Shastina on the other, with hills and mountains inbetween.It sits on the top of one of the surrounding hills, so has quite a view of the country all around. It was pretty hot while we were there, so we didn't hang out on the deck, but on a cooler day, it would be just lovely! We did sit out for quite a while looking at stars at night! The home is just as described, and very comfortable. It was perfect for two but with all the bedrooms, I could see a whole family staying there very comfortably! The owner was very helpful when we made reservations. We highly recommend staying there and would definitely go back!

Wonderful Place to Stay

My family gets together the past three years for an annual memorial to my Mom. We stayed, again this year at this home, and had a wonderful time. The house is comfortable for all of us and it seems to be our home away from home. It was very hot, but the air conditioner worked wonderfully, and the evenings were so pleasant sitting on the deck and enjoying the stars. The view is a million dollar view. It's always so nice to be able to bring my dog too. I recommend this place.

Beautiful Home with Amazing views!

Our family stayed in this home on our way to Oregon for my grandmothers 90th birthday party. The house was very clean, had everything we needed and plenty of space for us all to be comfortable.
This was the perfect half way point for us to take a break from driving with the two babies, we had a really nice Family vacation and the Lake Shastina House was a big part of that!
The view was absolutely amazing! We plan on coming back in the Summer for a longer trip, when we can enjoy the lake.

The views were glorious from every room and in all directions from the deck! The sunset the first night was better than any we saw on Maui earlier in the year. The home was most comfortable and we look forward to returning in the future. It is the perfect spot for meeting friends from Oregon.

INCREDIBLE HOUSE WITH PHENOMINAL VIEWS

We stayed at the house for a week at the end of August. The house was well kept and had many amenities, too many to list. The views from the deck are breath taking and the location was ideal for exploring the Mt Shasta area. We hope to be able to return in a couple of years, as we fell in love with the area.
We highly recommend this house. The owners were very helpful through the whole process.
Also, the directions for operating various things in the house, i.e. AC, washer/dryer etc were excellent.
Our overall experience was far better than we wished for.
This is a great home, with the best vistas in the most tranquil area in the Shasta Region.

This was our second stay at this home. Everything was in excellent order upon our arrival. The home is
