“Bellavista' is one of the apartments of the Residence 'Da Concettina', all provided with the same comforts and furnished with taste and elegance, situated in a privileged position, in the charming ledge of Taormina Mare, a few thousand meters from the famous beach of Isolabella.

'Bellavista' is a lovely apartment of about 50 square metres, on the third floor of a Residence close to the sea where you can enjoy a spectacular view due to a wide glass door of about 4 meters.

The apartment is composed of a bedroom, a bathroom and a living-room with kitchen. It can accommodate from 2 to 4 people.

The bedroom has a double bed with high quality matress and a spacious wardrobe box, the bathroom has shower, washing-machine and hairdryer.

The living-room is very wide and bright with a high quality sofa-bed, a modern kitchen, well organized and equipped for all of your needs, with gas-stove, fridge, freezer and oven.

Each room has programmable air conditioning and heating with remote control

Breathtaking view: 'Bellavista' is a nice flat on the third floor of a house situated beachfront. Particularly recommended to all the holidaymakers who want to enjoy the sea and the beautiful views of the Bay of Taormina. Due to the bay window you can admire a gorgeous scenery, whatever the weather, whatever is the season of the year. The beach front is free, but you can reach private beach establishments walking only a few meters. Recently renovated, the flat has furnishings in style with the summer colours and has all the necessary comforts.

Our guests early in the morning love walking along the seaside, keeping their hands interlocked; later in the afternoon they come back home to enjoy the sunset, where the moon in an amazing picture show seems to be born from the sea, with its rainbow colours. This is just a short description, wouldn't you love the opportunity to enjoy it?

Nearby activities: Here the beaches are full from March to October. The winter is still the season of the isolated travelers, which can go on holiday whenever they like. The seaside is perfect to go for a walk, breathing pure air and hearing the sound of the waves. Daily you can meet fishermen, who catch local fish that can be bought and cooked to have a healthy genuine dinner. We recommend the sunrise early in the morning: the yellow orange and violet sun in the horizon. As to spend some time at night under the stars.

Suitable for family-children, at a few steps there is a playground. The most important attraction to visit here is the enchanting village of Taormina, where there is the Greek Theater, to enjoy the spectacle of the sunset. To go up to Taormina a bus stop is available at just 50 meters. To reach other interesting little towns and famous historical Sicilian cities you can bring the coach at 100 meters or the train at 300 meters.

Other interests: The territory of Taormina boasts an extraordinary heritage of archaeological finds and architectural masterpieces. There are many themes, and if you follow them, you’ll discover a variety of treasures which few other regions in the world are able to offer.

All the small surrounding towns are individual places to discover, each one with something of special, like the Castel in Sant’Alessio, the mummies in Savoca...

If you like the mountain, just driving 30 minutes you will reach the Etna Park, crossed by lots of different paths, starting with the Nature Trails.

Hello! My name is Kristina and I live in Taormina Mare Mazzeo, a wonderful place very close to the sea that can be defined as heaven on Earth.

I run the Residence with Pinuccio, my boyfriend, and Pinuccio's mother, Concettina. This kind of business gives us the opportunity to know holidaymakers from all over the world and share with them different way of living.

We have built the Residence in 2005, it is composed of two new buildings of three elevations each, that we organized and furnished with taste and elegance. The aim is that holidaymakers can really feel at home, in a clean and familiar environment.

Our elegant Residence offers one of the best solutions for spending pleasant and relaxing holidays in search of sea, art and culture in famous Taormina.

The properties are at a few steps from the fabulous beach of Taormina Mare and there you can enjoy the sun from March to October. The geographical position enables you to visit all the Sicily in a very few time. Just 20/30 minutes and you can visit the surrounding valleys (Alkantara, Nisi, Agrò). A little bit more time, driving by highway, you can organize trips on the majestic Etna volcano or in the historical Sicilian towns such as Siracusa, Agrigento, Noto, Enna, Modica, Palermo, Cefalù.

we have just returned from a fantastic trip which was made only better by the wonderful accommodation and advice provided by Pinuccio and Kristina.
Mazzeo is the perfect destination for visiting Taormina, it is just a short bus journey to the center of Taormina and the bus stop which is located just outside the door of Da Concettina. Mazzeo itself is a beautiful town which has plenty of restaurants, bars, butchers, bakers, the fruit and veg man goes by the apartment every morning.
We had a 1 bedroom apt with views from our balcony of the beach and of Taormina. The apartment has everything you would need and is spotlessly clean.
I would highly recommend Da Cocettina to anyone! it really is an excellent place!

Very nice place to stay

This place, for us, was the best combination of location, price, cleanliness, and accessibility. Efficient Kristina and friendly Pinuccio make a good combination, looking after all aspects of your stay.
We particularly enjoyed the terrific view and the ability to go for a swim in the clean waters of the Mediterranean Sea just across the road. The apartment itself was spotless! We went in early October when the crowds were less, parking is free right on the street, traffic is reduced, and the sea water is still warm. A good base to visit many regional sites activities.

Room Tip: We stayed in the third floor Bellavista which lived up to its name with a very "Bella" view!

First the positives: The apartment was clean, spacious, had great sliding doors to the balcony, and an excellent view of the beach, which is directly across the street from the apartment. The cable TV had programming in many languages, though English broadcasting was limited to news programs (needs a channel guide). The neighborhood is excellent with a pedestrian walkway overlooking the beach, many restaurants in easy walking distance. There is also a small market, meat shop, farmacia and bancomat ATM within about 200 meters of the residence. It does not have a lot of tourist souvineer shops, but who needs them. By my standards the beach was okay. It is a gravel beach so unless you have tough feet, bring water shoes. Cleanliness was okay but not great. It does not have much wave action, almost more like a big lake,, so swimming is nice, especially in the morning, but no surf. September is clearly the end of their season and a few restaurants were already closed for the year before we left. The location is good with a bus within 50 yards to go to Taormina (don't drive there!), easy to find by car, and easy access to the coastal highway and Autostrada for trips around the region. Negatives: The apartment was on the third floor, no elevator. Beds, linens, and furniture were uncomfortable by American standards. This problem appears to be a constant throughout Italy, so I would rate this apartment as average for comfort. We were very disappointed that the owner did not provide any condiments or cleaning supplies other than a bucket, dirty broom and dust pan, and questionable looking sponge. This did not meet our standards for week long apartment rentals, though the owner insisted it was normal. Good support to guests should include clean sponges, hand and dish soap, salt, pepper and sugar, preferable a bit of cooking oil, so that we did not have to buy everything from the market in quantities that we would never use. Maybe we are spoiled, but that is what we have been given at other international rentals in Italy and Mexico. The cooking pots were also very poor quality. The apartment also had an electrical outage when we arrived (resolved an hour later) and a brief water outage (short but inconvenient with the washing machine going.)

Overall I would rate location as excellent and the apartment good so long as you are aware of the negatives and prepared to bring or buy all your supplies.

Wonderful Place to Stay

We spent the first 2 weeks of April in this apartment and everything was great. The apartment is spotless and there was a new fridge/freezer, a new mattress, new patio furniture, new couch and new paint on the walls. The owners, Kristina and Pinuccio take excellent care of their property and are always available to answer any questions. The apartment looks exactly like the pictures and is very spacious and comfortable. There are many restaurants close by as well as shops to buy groceries. Ciao Ciao Pizzeria makes the most wonderful pasta with sardines, a typical Sicilian dish. The internet point is a 10 min walk away and a fitness center is 15 min up the cliffs in the Olimpio Hotel. We were fortunate enough to have had perfect weather for 2 weeks and enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony with the early morning sun and fantastic views. Letojanni is within easy driving distance to many attractions on the East coast of Sicily. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to enjoy Sicily in a small town setting. Thank you Fufu and Pinuccio for a wonderful visit, it was a pleasure meeting you and we hope to be back one day.

Beautiful Apartment in great location

This apartment was clean and spacious, and had an amazing view and great location! The bus to Taormina was steps from the apartment and came every half hour. The Letojanni train station is only a few blocks away. The beach is right in front and quaint little beach restaurants are all within walking distance. Pinuccio and Kristina were very friendly and very helpful. I will definitely recommend this apartment and will definitely come back to stay!

Great place to stay near the beach. Very relaxing surroundings and yet very practical base location for accessing other sites. The owners Kristina and Pinuccio are hard working and kind hearted people that will make your stay very enjoyable. We had alot of fun. Would definitely recommend it for families with young teenagers.

Familiar atmosphere in a charming residence

If you like to spend your holiday in a quiet and familiar atmosphere in a charming reasonably priced family Residence in a few steps from the beautiful beach then the Residence "Da Concettina" is the perfect choice for the such peaceful and relaxing rest.
The bus stop and the train station are just 100 meters from there , where buses and trains run at regular intervals to Taormina, Messina, Catania.
All other tours to Etna, to antic and medieval castles and towns are available due to travel agencies and taxi service.
Excellent Sicilian cuisine, oil, wine and fruit are served in many restaurants on the
long wonderful beach of Letojanni.
I enjoyed strolling daily from the Mazzeo to the Capo Alessy looking at daily life of the fish villages, meeting with lovely people living and working there and thanking God for the opportunity to see and visit many blessed places in Sicilia.
I appreciate high a warm and friendly hospitality of the owners who made the staying in "Da Concettina" a truly memorable vacation. Larisa from Saint-Pietroburg.

A wonderfull place to be

Just returned from a wonderfull vacation in Sicily. The last 5 days we did stay at the appartment "Stromboli" and our host Pinuccio and hostes Fufu were just great.
The appartment is very nice and well equiped, also very quited. From Mazzeo is it very easy to visit Taormina, one can take the bus just around the corner.
Even the Mont Etna is nearby. Next to Mazzeo lies Lettojanni were you can find good restaurants en shop for everything you needs.
Also Giardini Naxos is very nice to visit. In a word we recommed the appartment to our family and friends, and hoping that we can come back next year and stay a little bit longer.
