The house has a very comfortable floor plan and beautifully decorated! It is located centrally on the island. The kitchen was convenient to use and we cooked several meals. The porches on the back overlook a gorgeous lagoon. This is a great venue for morning coffee. Our family felt very comfortable in the home and Conley, the owner, was very personable. The property is clean and the photos accurately reflect the rental appearance. We explored the Isle of Palms and visited the historic city of Charleston. It was a wonderful spring break.

Wonderful Condo! Wonderful Week!

We were extremely happy with our stay during the week of 2/24/13. The condo is nicely decorated, comfortable and very clean--including towels, linens, etc. The location is perfect--easy walks to the beach! Unfortunately, we missed a day because our flight was cancelled; however, we found Conley to be quite generous and kind as he made two alternative offers for us to consider to make up for the lost day. We appreciated his thoughtfulness; he truly wanted to make sure our stay was perfect! We highly recommend this condo, and would love to return in the future.

This house was perfect. My family stayed here for a wedding and it was exactly as described above. The owner was accessible and great to work with. The bedrooms were cute and perfect for a family of 6. We had a lot of fun and would recommend this house to anyone. It was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated!!! The price was perfect. Wonderful floor plan - Bright colors Great vacation week over Thanksgiving holiday
Property was accurately listed. Well equipped kitchen with everything we needed to prepare holiday meals. Clean and well maintained. Location is in center of all activities. Owner was a pleasure to work with. Would definitely recommend this property and look forward to staying here again!

Wonderful vacation rental!!

We rented this property over Labor Day and we had a great time. The condo was beautiful and very spacious. All of the rooms were nicely decorated, clean, and bright. The location of the condo was perfect! Only about a 5 minute walk to the beach (or a minute or 2 via the golf cart, which the 4 year old of the group loved!) and a short drive into Charleston. We did not experience any problems while staying at this property - no bugs, no problems with the wifi, or any of the problems stated in the last review.
The owner, Conley, was very helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions about the area and the condo. We will definitely be staying here next time we are in Charleston and would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Summer Vacation 2012

We spent a week at this villa in June of 2012. While the unit is nicely equipped, there were some issues that needed to be addressed. The first thing we noticed was that the Wifi wasn't working. We own our own business and we are always on call when traveling. So Wifi is very important. We brought out ipads and contacted the owner when we realized the wifi wasn't working. He instructed us to keep trying which we did but to no avail. Secondly, the unit needed serious attention to the carpets which were soiled. We have small children and clean floors are very important. The interior and exterior doors need to be painted as all are chipped. Finally, there were lots of bugs- roaches and palmetto bugs. They need an extermination service on a regular basis in the unit. Beach homes are notorious for bugs because of the proximity to the water, and this one sits on the canal. Regular service can eliminate the problem to a great degree. It is not fun to pay top dollar for your vacation, fly across the country to stay in a unit with bugs. I was very disappointed and would not likely return to this unit. We stay in this area every year, or in Hilton Head or Kiawah. I have never had a problem with a VRBO unit before. We did notify the owner of all of the issues listed here and he assured me the unit was going to receive a "face-lift" in the fall. No consolation for us but perhaps for future tenants.
Owner's Response: First let me say that I appreciate hearing from my rental guest because their feed back is valuable to improve and address concerns. This review reveals some concerns so I will try to address one at a time.
1. Wi Fi not working. I did receive a notice that the Wi Fi was not working so I advised the correct site and code. My guest still could not get it to work so I called Comcast and was advised their was no problem with Wi Fi so I ask my guest to try again that the code and site was good. I did not hear from them again so I assumed it was working. The previous guest and both future guest have had no problem so not sure why they could not access as it is wireless.
2. I Received notice that the washing machine tub would not fill with water and come on. I advise her that it was the latest energy/water saver model installed last year and the instructions were on the unit. They still could not get it to work so I had housekeeping to set up appointment to go over the unit with them. When they arrived no one was there so they called and came over again and showed them how to operate, problem solved.
3. I received notice that they had seen 2 roaches and 3 palmetto bugs so I call the association who handles pest extermination and was advised the unit was sprayed on 6/2/12 before they arrived and is serviced on regular basis or as needed. This was the first such concern that I have received so 6/2 service should handle and I will followup.
4. Carpet soiled. Yes the carpet does have some spots due to heavy traffic but it is cleaned on a regular basis and was cleaned on 5/16 before they arrived on 6/2/12. Carpet should be replaced during the upgrade in the fall.
I do appreciate the feedback as stated before and we try very hard to take care of all issues and insure that our guest have a pleasant, clean, and comfortable place to spend their vacation. We are always available our guest when needed.

We just spent a week at the property and had a great time. The space is open and spacious; yet, warm and homey. We ate most of meals on the bottom floor porch over looking the lagoon. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The home was very clean and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. During our stay we had a few questions, and Conley was extremely responsive. It was a pleasure to have someone there to ensure our stay was great. We highly recommend the property and look forward to coming back again.m

Wonderful Vacation!

I stayed here for a week with a group of friends and family, and we had such a wonderful trip! The weather was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, the beach was in perfect walking distance, and the house was so welcoming and comfortable. We all really enjoyed spending our days by the beach, as well as a the lovely beach front pools. At night time we would travel to downtown Charleston, which is about a 25 minute drive, go on walks on the beach, and just enjoy each other's company. The house was the perfect size and in such a wonderful location. I would gladly bring my friends and family back here for another vacation...I feel like we have found our new vacation spot! If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay that is in a wonderful location, this is the place for you!

Excellent Choice

All was exactly as described in the listing. The condo is beautiful and spacious and we especially enjoyed the screened in porch. The beach is just a short, enjoyable walk away. Everything that you could need for a relaxing stay is at hand. We also enjoyed the pools and becoming familiar with the Isle of Palms. Charleston can be about 20 minutes away if you are not caught in traffic. At rush hour it took us about 50 minutes. Still very convenient and, of course, there are so many wonderful stores, cafes, restaurants, historic sights, etc. there. All in all we could not have been happier with our choice. The owner was also extremely easy to work with and responsive at all times.

We recently stayed at this location and it was great. The unit/property was accurately described and no surprises. The owner was great to work with before and during our stay. We had a few questions while we were there and he helped us out tremendously.
The location at Wild Dunes was perfect. It's about a block away from the beach but central to the overall resort property. Great view from the back porch overlooking the canal.
Ammenities in the property/unit were good. Updated appliances and cable/free wi-fi.
Definitly recommend working with this owner and staying at this property. It was a pleasure all around and hope to go back soon.
