This was the dream vacation I always wanted: beautiful view, no tourists or tourism, quiet and excellent service. Simply amazing in every way. I stayed in the bungalow and it was wonderful. I traveled alone and felt very safe even at night. The food at the Bistro was outstanding. My pantry was stocked with everything I asked for and the staff went out of their way to help. Keisha and Eugene were excellent. The electricity went out one night and Eugene checked to see if I was okay (because I was alone). Keisha was so friendly and helpful. All the other staff were great...I just can't remember their names. Matt, who booked my trip, was extremely helpful with sending me information ahead of time and he came down to meet me during my stay. Eleuthra is a place you should go if you want peace and quiet. If you are looking for shopping and other tourist things, this is not the place for you. I slept outside, went to the beach and pool each day. I ate at the bistro (excellent fish and carrott cake), Tippys (excellent cracked conch!) and the Beach House . The last restaurant has a great gift store (the only good one on the island) and a cute dog named Lola who has ricketts but she is so sweet. This was the best vacation I ever went on and I can't wait to go back! Rest and relaxation. There is better place to stay on Eleuthra than sky beach! I will go back. The proerty is under construction. As long as you realize that it won't look perfect on the surrounding land, there isn't an issue. It does NOT look like a war zone as someone else wrote. There was no construction going on while I was there but the ground have been leveled in some places for it to occur. With this view and service WHO CARES!
