We stayed at this wonderful apartment the week of xmas. Everything the reviews say about the apartment and the proprietor, Rachael, are spot on. The apartment is in a really good location--near Union Square, the giant Whole Foods, the subway, as well as Greenwich Village and Chelsea. The kitchen has everything you need to make a quick snack, a full meal, or warm up some leftovers. Rachael is a gem. She is so warm and helpful and has great tips for whatever you need. She even came out one cold night when I'd stupidly locked myself out of the apartment! Highly recommended!!

Some few words to say many thanks to Rachael, we had such a great trip in New York. She was helpful, taking news during our stay, so friendly. We traveled with my 10 years daughter, Rachael has been very welcoming and had nice words for her. if there is one address and one host in the city, this is the good one...

We loved New York and staying in Rachael's flat we felt like temporary locals!
Although it is on a busy street the flat itself felt like a little oasis from the bustle of the city.It is together, snug and has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. It is close to the subway and all the attractions of Manhattan are easily accessible.
We wholeheartedly agree with all the positive things that previous "visitors" have written about Rachael. You couldn't wish to meet a warmer, more considerate or helpful host. She responded promptly to queries, made helpful suggestions and we knew that she was always accessible if needed.
We would certainly recommend staying here. Thank you Rachael.

There's not much more I can add to the tremendously positive reviews already listed for this property. The apartment is in such a great location, and was impeccably clean, nicely decorated, and filled with the amenities exactly described in the listing. My friends and I felt like less like we were visiting the city, and more like we were actually LIVING there for the short time we did. So much better an experience than an impersonal and much more expensive hotel room. Couldn't recommend this property more!

What made it even greater, as you may have surmised from other reviews, is the owner, Rachael. She was a delight to communicate with while planning and preparing for the trip, and even greater to meet in person. My friends and I felt immediately welcome in her presence and couldn't have hoped for a more friendly, vibrant person from whom to rent an apartment in Manhattan.

This is a FANTASTIC find! Don't pass up a great apartment, an amazing area, and a doubly amazing owner to rent from.

Me hospedé en el departamento de Rachael la temporada navideña pasada, y fue la mejor experiencia, anteriormente he rentado varios departamentos en la ciudad y sin duda ninguno fue tan satisfactorio. La mejor ubicación si buscas una de las mejores zonas de la ciudad sin tener que lidiar con las multitudes de turistas. Muy limpio, con todos los servicios, estación de metro cercana y las mejores opciones de restaurantes, bares, tiendas, y sitios turísticos no tan convencionales. Lo mas importante es la accesibilidad que muestra Rachael, quien es muy amable y sobre todo localizable en cualquier momento y dispuesta a ayudarte en cualquier inconveniente que se te pudiera presentar. Todo por un precio fantastico. La mejor opción en Manhattan!!

I stayed at Rachael's apartment for a week last Christmas season and it was the best experience. I've rented several apartments in the city before but none of them was as good as this one. The best location if you're looking for one of the top neighborhoods in the city without having to deal with crowds of tourists you find uptown. Very clean and neat, with all the amenities you need, just blocks away from subway stations, and some of the best restaurants, clubs, bars, cafes, shops and the coolest tourist spots in the city. The best of all is that Rachael is always available to solve any doubt or problem you may have at any time, besides being the nicest person ever. Last but not least the price is great. Hands down, the best option in Manhattan!!

Everything about our trip to NY was amazing, including our apartment. The location can't be beat. It's near the subway and we walked to all over downtown. The neighborhood is very exciting and there's alot to do. We were in the middle of everything and there were so many tempting restaurants it was hard to decide which ones to eat in.
The apartment was delightful and cozy. It was quite clean and it came with all the amenities one would need, which made it very inviting.
Rachel was so nice, and she even recommended a few shows for us to check out. Rachael's goal is to insure a wonderful stay for all her guests, and she fufilled it completely and we had a wonderful time. The next time we come back we will be sure to stay here again. I would definitely recommend this apartment to any of my friends and family that were visiting New York.

Stayed here the week of Thanksgiving and found the apartment to be very clean, well appointed, and comfortable for two of us. Rachael is incredible - extremely friendly, very helpful with local info, restaurants, and even researched parade viewing spots for us. The apartment is just down the street from a subway and convenient to all of Manhattan and Brooklyn. During our stay we had Rachael regularly checking in on us, and answered the very few questions we had about the apartment. I'm very confident in saying that customer satisfaction is priority one with her. This is a great place to stay in NYC and we will definitely stay again in the future.
