Designed and furnished for the most discriminating of travelers, Ocean House ('Kai Kauhale') is our newly constructed 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom, 3,005-square-foot home with sweeping 180-degree ocean views and its own private pool and hot tub.

Nestled on the sprawling 48-acre resort of Wai’ula’ula in the exclusive Mauna Kea Resort, created by Rockefeller and appreciated by affluent travelers from all around the globe, Ocean House is now available to rent directly through the private owners.

Ocean House is a $2.5 million vacation home finished with the finest art and furnishings, including 3 king-sized master bedrooms with their own en suite bathrooms, spacious open living and dining areas overlooking the private pool and ocean, cushy great room with home theater and iPod docking station, gourmet chef’s kitchen with top-of-the-line granite counters and stainless-steel appliances, wraparound covered lanai with built-in Wolf gas BBQ grill and dining and sunbathing areas, dual air-conditioning controls, and imported mahogany molding and stone flooring.

Sleeping accommodations at Ocean House include a primary master suite with king bed, walk-in closet, glass-enclosed walk-in shower for 2 leading to a private outdoor shower, private toilet room, and his and hers vanities. A second master suite can be configured with 1 king or 2 twin beds and features its own en suite bath with his and her vanities, Jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower and private toilet room. The third master suite boasts 1 king or 2 twin beds, a walk-in closet and walk-in shower.

Unfortunately Ocean House isn't suitable for children under 12.

Wai’ula’ula's 48 lush acres include its own unparalleled recreation pavilion, with an additional infinity-edge pool overlooking the Pacific, a state-of-the-art fitness center, full kitchen, and alfresco dining area with 3 Viking gas grills.

Guests at Ocean House enjoy access to the world-renowned and newly reopened Mauna Kea Beach and Hapuna Prince Resorts*, including 36 holes of championship golf, first-class tennis and workout facilities, two pristine white sand beaches, and upscale restaurants and shops.

Golfers can experience the new Mauna Kea Golf Course, which has been replanted with highly efficient ultra-dwarf Tifeagle Bermuda grass on the greens and Tifway 419 hybrid Bermuda grass on the tees, fairways and roughs.

What an exceptional property!! The kitchen was well-equipped with every possible gadget, pans, etc. the home is beautiful, the beds & linens wonderful. I would highly recommend the amenity cards.
The hot tub & pool made the evenings relaxing.

Everything in this home was high quality. My husband & I were here with our adult children. Our son became engaged on this vacation & we had photos taken by the photographer @ Mauna Kea. Highly recommend him!!

Nothing could be improved in this beautiful home!!!

Paradise in a paradise.

We just completed our one week stay at The Ocean House. It truly was a paradise in paradise. The home, grounds and pool were amazing. The sunsets from our lanai every night were magical. The outdoor living areas and kitchen were great and our family enjoyed all the rooms with large private baths for all. The island of Hawaii is phenomenal- but it was hard to leave our private paradise. The rental process was smooth and personnel friendly. The housekeeping and landscaping were spotless. Nothing could have been improved. Can't wait to return!
