This was the second schoolhouse on this property, the first one was built in 1867. The garden has a partial fence between us and the road, we have streams running on both our South and West sides, meeting in front of our SW corner and running half a mile down to the Delaware River where one can enjoy fishing, canoeing or kayaking and swimming all summer long.
Activities: . We have a huge library of books and vinyl records, also Cd's and Cassette tapes. We are in a shallow valley, with nice hikes in the hills surrounding us. Wildlife is abundant in our area, which is famous for the eagles and hawks which choose to nest nearby. Hunters also enjoy deer-hunting in season. The Cannonsville reservoir has only last year been opened to boaters and this lovely and huge body of water hasn't yet been discovered by boaters. Last summer when Nick had his sailing kayak out on the reservoir he was the only person on the water, it was like his own private lake.
