We just returned from our trip to Puerto Rico. We spent 3 nights at the condo. It was a perfect place for our family of 5. The condo was very clean and very well-equipped. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The condo also has everything you would need for the beach or pool - beach towels, sand toys, boogie boards and chairs. Our children used both the basketball and the tennis raquets that were provided. They joined a group lesson with a local tennis pro at the courts outside the condo. We enjoyed the pools at the complex. The location is great. It took about an hour to drive to/from San Juan. We easily drove to to El Yunque. We also took a snorkel trip with East Winds Excursions. It was a quick drive to the Puerto del Rey marina for that trip. Also a quick trip to the Seven Seas beach. The owner was very helpful. He met us at our hotel in San Juan and at the airport rental car office to exchange keys. His directions to the condo were easy to follow. We hope to get back to Puerto Rico and would definitely stay at this condo again.

We had a wonderful time in Puerto Rico. The condo is beautiful in itself as well as a great base for exploring the island.

The condo is perfect: clean, plenty of room, well furnished and fully equipped. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms are roomy with plenty of storage space. The living area is huge-- only half of it is shown in the photo. The other half is unfurnished, and would be a perfect game corner for children. The kitchen is very well equipped, with new appliances. The kitchen area also includes a dining table and laundry machines.

We alternated days in the condo/Fajardo area with day trips. We all enjoyed the condo complex pools, and reading on the balcony looking over Fajardo and the ocean. Day trips included driving along the Ruta Turistica (beautiful countryside, narrow, windy roads); El Yunque (fabulous rainforest with a variety of trails. Dress for rain!); Old San Juan; and snorkeling.

We ate at some wonderful restaurants in Fajardo. The food is beautifully prepared, with super-fresh fish and meat. Be aware that vegetarian options are difficult to find. Be sure to save room for dessert! Service is quite leisurely, so relax and enjoy the island pace.

All in all, we had a wonderful, relaxing, fun, and food-filled vacation. Thank you to the owner for providing a great home for it all, and for being wonderfully easy to work with as we planned our trip.

We (2 adults, 2 children age 7 and 4) spent 4 nights at this beautiful vacation home, and we all wish we could have stayed longer! It was a wonderful experience for everybody. The owner is very nice and professional, and everything went smoothly. The apartment is very clean and spacious, and provides everything you need. The facilities are great, with gym, swimming pools and tennis court, etc. The location is great, close to beautiful local beaches, the rainforest and the marina where we took day trips to Vieques and Culebra. We highly recommend this place!

Nice place, has everything needed for beaching(towels, coolers, blankets) very secure facility. Nice pool with a slide, I think we used the pool every day we were there. Beach is 5 minute drive and is very nice. El Yeunge is a must do and is a 25 minute drive

Beware the local ferry to Culebre, many, many break downs and very uncomfortable. Culebre is a beautiful Island but the ferry is not worth the trouble, find another way to get there.

We did a snorkel cruise on the Spread Eagle catamaran right outside the condo gate. One of our best days.

As for the local restaurants, the service is spotty at best some try very hard and make mistakes, others barely try at all, but the food was good everywhere we went and everyone was patient with my poor Spanish. Be sure to get some Mofongo.

Our best dining experience: We had Tapas and drinks for dinner at Le Ola right outside the condo driveway many times. This place has a 270 degree water view a nice bar and deck. Try to catch the moon rise over the water. Be sure to try the Papas Bravas and Bushwackers, and if you have too many Bushwackers you just need to walk 200 yards to get home.

Mr Reyes makes getting and dropping off the keys an easy experience and he gave us the most detailed directions from the airport to the condo. These directions are critically important because GPS won't get you there and cab drivers don't know how either.

It was every easy getting to Puerto Rico and we were fortunate to find direct flights from Los Angeles. Once in the renal car it was a 45 quick minute drive from San Juan to the Condo in Fajardo. We were two adults and two children and had such a wonderful vacation while staying at Efrain's Condo in Pena Mar. The Condo was spotless, modern and contained all the conveniences of home. Efrain was very responsive and trustworthy. We felt safe and secure and quickly settled in. The proximity to the all of the beautiful attractions on Puerto Rico was ideal. El Yunque was close by and is an exotic adventure into the jungle and waterfalls. We really enjoyed our trip with East Island Adventures to The Spanish Virgin Islands. It was a quick 40 minute cruise from Puerto Del Ray in Fajardo across the bay to some of the best snorkeling ever on Culebra (an we have snorkeled everywhere). The sapphire waters were teeming with brightly colored fish, brain coral and sea fans. We even got to see a shark which my two boys won't stop talking about. Flemenco Beach on Culebra rates as one of the best in the world too. We ate wonderful seafood and found beautiful beaches in Humacao. We drank Mojitos and ate Mofongo and Tostones at many restaurants in Old San Juan and Fajardo. Our favorite restaurants were in Fajardo! We ate fresh Mahi Mahi and Passion Fruit Sangria at Pasion por el Fagon. We dined outside at La Estacion (FYI Cash Only!), which is a beautiful gourmet oasis in a converted gas station! I recommend the pinchos and the ribs with homemade guava sauce. Make reservations for both! We also had a late lunch at the very laid back "Costa Mia" where the food was great and the views of the Seven Seas Beach were breathtaking. We also ate breakfast every morning and bought fresh baked Pan at Dulce Bakery at the bottom of the hill (to the right). We also ventured over to Pinones to the Kiosks and had local food and a beautiful day on the beach. There is great snorkeling and we found beautiful seashells there which were the perfect treasures to take home to remind us of our lovely stay in Fajardo and Puerto Rico. We would absolutely return!

My colleagues and I stayed at your condo while our business conference was at El Conquistador right up the road! The condo was clean, fully equipped and Efrain was very accomodating! Would definitely recommend to anyone...also many board games and athletic equipment - thanks again Efrain!

I enjoyed my stay and hope that everyone gets to meet Efrain Reyes. It was amazing! The condo had everything you needed. From fresh towels to every board game you can think of. The property has 3 pools, basketball/tennis court, fitness room and the best views of the ocean and rain forest. I will for sure have another trip back and will be contacting Mr. Reyes for a stay. He is the most understanding condo owner I know and goes beyond the extra mile. Thanks for the stay and will return soon.
