This condo is in one of only a few complexes in Whistler that are considered ski-in/ski-out, close to Whistler Village, and set in a quiet forested area making it easy to get a good night’s sleep.

Private entrance, about 150 yards to the Blackcomb Lift Base, Daylodge, Ski School and Daycare. Shopping and Restaurants are about 350 yards walk along the Village Trail. If you are flying in to Vancouver Airport, take the Shuttle or Limo to & from our condo, no rental car needed, walk to everything in minutes.

Amenities include, a park-like setting beside a mountain creek with a covered bridge directly opposite Blackcomb base, heated slate-tile floors, river rock fireplace, log accents, fully-equipped open kitchen great for entertaining,

new appliances, and two and a half baths.

We purchased this condo because it is the closest townhouse condo to both Lifts and Village and large enough to accommodate our family and friends, and lots of privacy. No one above, no one below, no other condos in front, faces trees and beside a park.

Considered Ski In / Ski Out location and family friendly. You do not need a car. Walk to everything in minutes. As one guest said, ' you fall out the front door and your at the Lift'.

My husband, two kids and I just spent a week at Whistler with a few friends and had a fantastic experience. The condo is an end unit townhouse at the base of Blackcomb and a few minute walk from the base of Whistler. This was important to us with little kids, as we didn’t want to walk very far in the mornings with all the ski gear or in the evenings for dinner. It’s also surrounded by beautiful trees and right next to the main village path that crosses a creek with a covered walking bridge that lights up in various Christmas colors. Very pretty. As for the inside, everything was as advertised with the kitchen and living/dining room on the main floor and then two levels above made up of bedrooms and a loft space with more beds and TV. Great multi-family place and hope to return soon.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great Location, Needs Update

Just got back from a wonderful trip to Whistler. The condo we stayed in was in a great location in the Gables, which is about halfway between Blackcomb and Whistler. The property was as described in the listing with plenty of beds for people to sleep in. The amenities as were as described in the pictures with a relatively small kitchen and living space. Most beds were reported to me as comfortable. There is several opportunities for updating in the condo, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. Kitchen needs new cabinets to go along with the new appliances. Bathrooms could also use a freshening with new cabinets and showers. Lastly, the floor is in desperate need of work. There are multiple areas of grout missing and the occasional cracked tile. Would recommend to a friend, especially if there was a small amount of updating.

Glad you enjoyed our condo and thanks for the review. Our location is definitely second to none and your feedback is a top priority. The grout on our new heated tile floor has gradually failed in some spots from ski boots. Tile experts we have consulted have recommended a product called flex-grout. We tried some after you checked out for color matching and all grout will be repaired in a few weeks. Kitchen cabs & bathroom updates this summer.
Hope to accommodate you again and receive a 4-5 star rating.
